Nah. Future's End and JLU are still too wet-behind-the-ears ... Superman/Wonder Woman deserves to be in the top ten

Greg Pak is the only writer currently working for DC who seems to really understand what makes Superman tick –
Its hard to argue with this, if we're not counting Grant Morrison (he hasn't exactly left). I think Soule's getting close, but Pak just has this synergy with Superman, its amazing. If the new folks who jump on to Johns/Romita Jr's Superman also get a taste of Action, perhaps the recognition of this title and this creative team will get its due diligence.

Superman/Wonder Woman should be on the list. Red Lanterns has gotten better with Kara (I would have never guessed this six months ago) and Aquaman seems to have taken a dive (pun intended).

My opinion and a question: Is Dc purposive trying to make Batman mediocre knowing his name will still sell the most books?

Any list with Pak's Action Comics at its top and Azzarello's Wonder Woman at second place deserves my automatic seal of approval.

    Pak's ACTION COMICS, Pak's BATMAN/SUPERMAN, Azz's WONDER WOMAN, Manapaul's DETECTIVE COMICS, and Parker's AQUAMAN.

    All quality, yo.

You know, I've heard so many good things about Pak and Kuder on Action, I can see why someone would have Action in their top spot, (I really need to start reading Action and GLC again) although, for me, Wonder Woman and Green Arrow hold the top two spots currently at Dc, with a few exceptions (books that haven't been out for a full arc yet) thats a pretty decent list, although, SM/WW & Swamp Thing, should of definitely, been in the mix...

You should treat yourself. Just go out and grab Pak's issues of ACTION so far. You won't be sorry.

Here is my top 16 counting down.

16-JUSTICE LEAGUE (only here because it should make my top ten soon)
15-EARTH 2 (only because it has some characters I think are cool)
14-SWAMP THING (Great book... but am more interested in more conventional super hero books)
    13-BATMAN SUPERMAN (nice Pak book)
12-AQUAMAN (not as good as John, but I still enjoy it
11-ALL STAR WESTERN (feel as if this book has jumped a few sharks )
10-BATMAN ETERNAL (really love this series)
09-JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK (love all the characters in this book)
08-JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED (Green Arrow and Animal Man and Lemire ..... Oh my!)
07-THE FLASH (Love Flash and so far this new team)
06-DETECTIVE COMICS (Nice start for new team)
05-RED LANTERNS (fantastic book featuring the true Green........ Red...... son to be Blue Lantern Guy Gardner
04-ACTION COMICS (love Superman and now have a great book to read.... dare I be selfish and demand John's Superman be as good.... make it so !
03-GREEN ARROW (how great is this series? let me count the praise
02-BATMAN (Scott Snyder has been terrific on Batman since his Detective Comics run and through his Batman run
01-WONDER WOMAN (soon Azzarello will be gone and this book and character will be just my favorite character in comics and one I will always read first, but most likely not
in my top 10 (or 16) Make me wrong!

I'd have to agree with their list. However, I wasn't a huge fan of Wonder Woman but I still think their list is good.
    My top 10:

    1. Aquaman (Parker)
    2. Batgirl
    3. Batman: Eternal
    4. Batman
    5. Future's End
    6. Superman/ Wonder Woman
    7. The Flash (Vendetti)
    8. Earth 2 (Taylor)
    9. Action Comics (Pak)
    10. Batman/Superman (Pak)

    8 - Justice League / Forever Evil
    7 - Green Lantern
    6 - All Star Western
    5 - Green Lantern Corps
    4 - Batman
    3 - Red Lanterns
    2 - Swamp Thing
    1 - Wonder Woman

The ones I cant rank yet are

    Futures End
    Justice League United
    Sinestro

I consider all 3 of them on trial period, and even though Im behind on my reading by a couple weeks (as usual) - which means I have only read one issue for each so far - I have liked them well enough.

Also, IMO Batman/Superman has no business in any type of top list as only the first arc is worth reading; and when over half the published issues for a book are not well regarded I'd think it can be considered middle of the pack at best.

Any time two Pak books make it on a top ten list, then the list was created by Greg Pak. The man's Marvel books sold like pimpled diseased ass for reason.
