she is clearly in love with him
Or she says a lot of people are wonderful

And she doesn't like Steve nearly so much when she realizes it's not so fun being weaker than a man

And Diana Prince certainly isn't doing WW any favors

I used wonderful because you said she didn't like how damsel in distress he was, not as proof she loved him.

steve wasn't stronger than her in his normal self., and she was on the right to not listen him about marriage since he was forcing her to do it.

    she quite like his muscles

You missed the point of that scan completely ... Read what she thinks about some girls thinking it's okay. Marston wove this type of narrative throught his work. WW consistently came back to only being with Steve as Diana Prince. She want in love with him, she was using him to explore life as a woman in mans world. It's basically what N52 Steve has to say about her... (Paraphrasing here) he essentially said to SM "she'll break up with you, it's what she does". Heavy implication that DC was acknowledging GA WW and Steve and the nature of their GA relationship. Everything from Marstons era came back to the same concept of loving submission to authority.

some girls think it's okay because we live on a patriarch. steve was being abusive with his powers.

I think your views are different from mine. I showed scans that show she is clearly in love with steve, even if she doesn't want to admit. WW would never use a person just to showed up the world for her, on new 52 is clear she cares for him and it is her prejudices that make her break up with him.

A reader can open virtually any early WW tale penned by Marston and find Diana, in her Wonder Woman guise, saying she "loves" Steve.

How can one deny a panel from Wonder Woman no. 2 where she prays to Aphrodite and asks for news of "the man I love"? She was not calling out to her patron goddess as Diana Prince.
“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.

It's eaSy when you think about it ... Marston was making a statement about what women can be ... he constantly played with this in the strip. Diana as WW would be captured, think about Steve then end up freeing herself and Steve. It's very formulaic ... love the boy, get captured, free yourself and the boy; realize you don't need a man to be strong.

Next person who spoils the end of the entire Convergence storyline in a thread that isn't about Convergence #8 and properly labeled 'spoiler' will be getting some time off.

To clarify - this is NOT a thread about Convergence #8.

    HAHAHAHAHA!

Even DEAD Steve Trevor is still the most awesome boyfriend ever!

Wow! How did he overcome his terrible vampiric curse? Alien super-powers? Magic ring? Bat-pills?

NOPE! Just guts and heart and true, true love!

    BOOM!

If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not
