I'm happy for him, I've been a fan for a while. It's great that the company has such faith in his prowess as a promoter and out-of-box storyteller that they're entrusting Marvel's second big bang to him and his run on Surfer, which I find a great read.

More like "Somewhat New, Not At All Different", because it looks like that once SW ends, 616 Marvel more or less picks up where it left off.

I will be so disappointed if that happens to be true, don't get me wrong I've been a huge fan of the mainstream Marvel Universe for a long time, but I really was hoping for a major change to tell new stories.

Personally, I'm excited to see what's on the other side of SW and expect it to be "somewhat all-new and kind of different." Which is fine by me.
