I think All-New All-Different just means teens these days.

    ANAD X-Men was teen O5 X-Men.
ANAD Avengers is an Avengers teen squad.

The 8 months they skip will be the next event, probably in 2016. Mark my words.

How ironic is it that they are using an old, tired tagline like "All New, All Different?"

Shrugs, whatever. I'll consider caring when titles and teams are announced.

I thought the ANAD X-Men were the Bronze Age relaunch that made the team popular?

Don't really care how many all-new's and all-different's come before the title as long as it's good.

It's not just the 90's, but the internet. In this thread alone, I've read comments about Miles Morales being Bendis' worst creation or people refusing to read Al Ewing's amazing run on Mighty Avengers (essentially "Black Avengers"). Add in the reaction to a bi-racial character replacing Peter Parker in an ALTERNATE universe and over two years of complaints about Michael B. Jordan being cast as Johnny Storm with absurd claims of tokenism and studio involvement when in reality, he was the first actor cast because the director wanted to work with him again. New comic fans want absolutely nothing to do with those people.

    Ashamed/disgruntled/discouraged/unhappy about what?

More like until Marvel themselves decided to elevate The Avengers at their expense for the films, which worked.

I think the Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel new volume that Wilson teased in her Twitter might fall under this banner if this'll be after Secret Wars.
