    You forgot to add the roughly 27,000 each of those sold of the standard cover
    8th = BATMAN #23.4 BANE - $3.99 - 95,298
    10th = BATMAN #23.3 PENGUIN - $3.99 - 89,850

    111th = BATMAN #23.3 PENGUIN STANDARD ED[*] - $2.99 - 27,158
    120th = BATMAN #23.4 BANE STANDARD ED[*] - 26,176
    http://icv2.com/articles/comics/view...september-2013

    New totals:
    * BATMAN #23.4 BANE = 121, 474 combined
    * BATMAN #23.3 PENGUIN = 117, 008 combined

    Mind you, these numbers are primarily based on what stores ordered through Diamond, not on what was actually sold to readers. Also only covers areas served by Diamond and does not include digital sales. (I don't know if there were any newsstand releases for those issues, either. The #23.1 issues did get newsstand releases, but I don't know if the others did.)

    So will DC be including a digital code in their $3.99 books like Marvel? I've seen it reported that the digital combo packs are being discontinued, but haven't heard anything about possible free codes.

    Current $3.99 books from DC don't automatically include a digital code. They use to have +/- eight additional pages (often as a back-up feature) for the additional buck, then it was better, firmer cover stock with maybe some extra story pages.

    I think what bothers me the most about the price increases, especially if they are justifying it by paper quality or cover stock, is that the digital price is raised, as well, with no change to the digital content.

    But pricing for digital is based in part on the physical copy. They can't change that without pissing off all the local comic book shops even more.

    Grayson isn't 3.99 anymore. I think someone at DC changed their mind.

    It is a price point, that is all, and mostly has to do with paying the people working on it. The physical just happens to be getting some bonus that probably does not add much to the cost of printing anyway.

    I'm not sure if I have seen any change in the Grayson price, but Wonder Woman is still all over the place.

    How recently was this price change made? It's still listed at Comixology as being 3.99 as of right now.

    We might as well all get used to the fact that, currently right now, the standard price of a comic is $3.99. DC is really the only holdout producing a huge amount of $2.99 comics. One month last year they released more $2.99 comics than the entire rest of the industry combined.

    Still, up until Convergence at least, DC's $3.99 books were 22 pages long, as opposed to the 20 pages of their $2.99 books. Who knows if that will continue.

    Dark Horse and Image still offer some titles under $3.99, even if those prices are likely to be $3.50 U.S.

    I like your profile picture, what comic is it from?

    It looks like justice league United won't be out until July. Why is that?

    It's a pretty classy book. Worth the cost

    I believe it was because it took them longer to find a creative team for it.
