    Bad story + bad art
Secret Wars II - One of the first examples of useless ploy to lure readers into buying useless crossover titles to tell one complete epic mess that changed nothing for the Marvel Universe, and while Al Milgrom was the "go to" guy for fill-in deadlines his art was always mediocre.

    a) Best combination of Great Story + Great Art
Batman & Robin 1-3 with Morrison and Quitely.

    b) Best combination of Great Story + Bad Art
Batman & Robin 4-6 with Morrison and Tan.

    c) Best combination of Bad Story + Great Art
This one was difficult for me. I don't want to just put Batman/Batman/Batman stuff but any time Tony Daniel wrote and drew Batman it always looked good but had an awful story.

    Great story + Great art:
    1. (Big Time +) The Superior Spider-Man. The artwork by Stegman, Camuncoli and Ramos (my personal favourite artist. His Venom and Goblins look insanely good!) is top notch. The story by Dan Slott is even better.
    2. Silver Surfer by Dan Slott and Mike Allred.
    3. Hawkeye by Matt Fraction and David Aja.
    4. Saga by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples.
    5. Deadly Class by Rick Remender and Wes Craig.
    6. Spider-Man by Stan Lee & John Romita Sr.

    Great story + Bad art:
Annihilation Omnibus. Not all of the art is bad, but most of it is. Great story, though.

    Bad story + Great art:
Spider-Man stories written and illustrated by Todd McFarlane.

    Bad story + Bad art:
Ultimate Comics Spider-Man (Peter Parker stories in vol 2 of the series). A terrible sequel to one of the best runs in comics. I just couldn't believe that it was still Bendis writing it and Lafuente's art is just terrible.

Id also add McFarlane's run with David Micheline on ASM, the stories just don't hold up well.

    Great Story + Bad Art:
-Squadron Supreme by Mark Gruenwald. There is only one story of Buscema, the rest is pretty flat art by Hall and Neary. With better artist (or simply, with Buscema on all the series) this story would be there with the greatest classics of the superhero genres.

    Bad Story + Great Art:
-Old Man Logan by Millar & McNiven. Probably McNiven at his peak, however the story is nothing special, just a chance for Millar to show off. Never really understand why this saga is so celebrated.
