I really liked the latest issue of Future Imperfect. The way Maestro pwned Ulik just goes to show how powerful he is. I find it interesting that Maestro really wants to take Doom and rule over everything himself. He definitely has the power to do it.

The only part of Future Imperfect #5 that was a dream was Maestro possessing the Destroyer armor and defeating God Emperor Doom. Everything else happened. Therefore, this is all actually happening. Most likely scenario?

Maestro probably broke free from the wishing well trap and has since then been deadly determined to become the ultimate antagonist for the Marvel Universe/Multiverse. Seeking power, killing heroes and villains, and making deals with beings of immense power. Hence his partnership with the Collector.

I love the second picture from Secret Wars #6.

It's quite apparent that the Maestro isn't afraid to confront God Emperor Doom, nor tell him that if he desired his throne of omnipotence... he would gladly take it from him!

On another note, Esad Ribic illustrates a truly bad-ass Maestro! Why the hell can't we get a Maestro ongoing with Ribic as the main artist? You know, follow the events that take place after "Contest of Champions" comic series and into the game where Cosmic Maestro is at the top of the hierarchy: the universal/multiversal conqueror, the Galactus killer, Phoenix Five and Phoenix Corps annihilator, hunter of Celestials, etc.

That'd make for an epic series. After all, it's about time we have another high-end villain that isn't Dr. Doom or Thanos. Seriously, they've been done to death! It's time for the Age of the Maestro!

Agreed. I think Maestro never looked better and would love to see Ribic drawing a Maestro title. He really captures both the savagery and sophistication of the Maestro.
