Batman: The Brave & The Bold

lots of DC Universe exposure there.
I enjoy comic book adaptations but I'm a comic book fan first and foremost. Not a comic book movie fan.

    Must see TV series include:

    Justice League
    Justice League Unlimited
    Teen Titans

Must see direct to video features include:

    Justice League: The New Frontier
    Batman: Gotham Knight
    Wonder Woman
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
    Batman: Under the Red Hood
    Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

The only real stinkers to avoid in the animated series are Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Justice League: War, Superman: Doomsday, Superman vs. The Elite, and the two part Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.

Justice League and Justice League Unlimited will give you a great introduction to a lot of DC's top tier heroes and villains.

My must watch list, for shows:
Justice League and Justice League Unlimited
    Young Justice
I also recommend Brave and the Bold and Teen Titans, but they do skew younger

    For movies:
    Under the Red Hood
    Crisis on Two Earths
    Flashpoint Paradox
    Dark Knight Returns
And JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time, though again it skews younger.
And maybe the just released Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts

Wow, Flashpoint Paradox and The Dark Knight Returns are my two favorites. To each their own I guess.

No, they aim younger, but adults like us can love them too.

I didn't include older at the exclusion of younger.
It's just that they tend to appeal to younger AND older. Just not so much the ages in between.

I think fans of pre-Smurfs Saturday Morning cartoons may like Batman: Brave and the Bold and/or Teen Titans.

Plus, Batman: Brave and the Bold has a lot of throwbacks and easter eggs for fans of the '60s show.

Me too. Definitely recommend. Also, the Timmverse, Young Justice, Teen Titans if you can stand the occasional generic kids show episodes, Brave and the Bold. Green Lantern Animated (which is vastly underrated), Beware the Batman, Legion of Superheroes, Crisis on 2 Earths, Wonder Woman, Under the Red Hood, Superman vs the Elite, Assault on Arkham (actually about the Suicide Squad), and New Frontier.

I'm in that midrange and I think its one of the greatest shows ever made. Its so completely tongue-in-cheek any one can enjoy it. And there are plenty of adult jokes (the Bat-Mite convention, and especially the Birds of Prey Song. (Which the U.S. wouldn't even air its so obviously a sex joke.)

    The New Frontier
Batman: The Brave and the Bold
    Batman: TAS
    Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

The rest are either mediocre or just plain terrible
