Default Superman exists in the "arrow" universe!

Arrow Season 2.5 #8 point blank makes a direct reference to Superman! Though how long he has been around is up for debate since Huntress has never heard of him. Still, definition of AWESOME!

Why didn't he showed up in Starling City when Merlyn activated the earthquake device at the end of season 1?

    Stopping an alien invasion?

Little late. I just bagged it. Should still be on the stands, though.

Good question. Maybe he hasn't been around that long. Especially if Huntress hasn't heard of him.

That would be a pretty gargantuan shake-up to that universe; a description of the scene would be nice. Maybe they were just referencing him as a fictional character? Or obliquely enough it could be another "hero from Metropolis" or whatever they said?

If they're just mentioning, "that guy from Metropolis" or something, that's probably it. He'd fit in that world.

If this means that Supergirl can cross over with the Arrow and The Flash then I'm all for it.

Huntress helps Ollie and Roy rescue Felicity from Brother Blood. After they all escape in a helicopter, the escaped leader tries to throw Roy out of the helicopter. Roy kicks him out of the helicopter.

(SCENE: Iron Heights prison. Helena is back behind bars)

    HELENA: "So, he's dead?"

    OLLIE: "Unless he's Superman, yeah."

    HELENA: "What's a 'Super-Man'?"

    OLLIE: "Never mind, inside joke."

    You don't have any scans?

Sounds like it was just a reference to the character "SUPERMAN".

Anyway the tie in comics are always ignored anyway.

It's a meta joke. A wink-wink to the fans. The DC TV universe hasn't imploded yet.
    Searching for Samus Aran. Still.

Exactly. I have seen stuffs in the tie comics never mentioned on the TV shows and even worst contradicting stuffs on the shows. Anyway, that "Superman" reference was meant as a joke. Not to be taken seriously.

In the second Supergirl trailer, they cleary mentioned that Superman was the only hero on Earth before Supergirl debut. Multiverse in action people.
