Very cool. I like that artist and follow him on tumblr. I actually think if this era is relaunched I'd like to see it starring the surviving members of the New Mutants squad plus Hellion and assorted others. I think they have a lot of heart and untied ends that could be fun, plus some were involved in the Stryker attack while others weren't so it'd be interesting to have a characters with a mixture of experiences after M-Day.

So Surge, Elixir, zombie Wallflower, Prodigy, Wind Dancer, Hellion, Rockslide, and Pixie. Maybe Mercury and Bling!, if space is allotted.

Although I will say that I like how Julian uses his TK to reform a hand using rocks that were probably busted off Rockslide, after his hand substitute got shattered. Clever.

Yeah that hand was probably an artist's mistake. Honestly I'm on the fence as to whether he should get his hands back or not especially after Age of X. I still can't stand Idie because she's one of the most egregious insults to characterization. She completely changes look and personality from writer to writer. Every version of her would be completely different characters if they weren't given the same name.

I still think Laura would be a good addition to the films, especially to prepare for the reality that even if Jackman has regained his enthusiasm, there will still come a time when he's just going to be too old to keep playing Wolverine, which barring a full series reboot would leave Fox in the position of recasting or dropping the character altogether. She can fill his same role on the team as the stabby loner while still bringing her own personality and character arc, as well as adding diversity with another female role.
