How the hell does Alan Moore know all about my drinking locations? As I've said,

I've gone drinking with people who live on North Orange Road, Athol.

There's the Strange Brew Tavern (recommended, BTW) in Manchester and Northeast Delta Dental Stadium for Fishercats games.
I used to work in Boston's Back Bay and there are few Copley Square bars I haven't hit.
And Providence? Well, the less said about where I drank there, the better.

So this book is becoming more ominous by the issue for poor Black. Now he seems to get pulled into Crowleyesque sex magic. Anyone else get the impression the artifact was watching them. It is hard to remind myself that he has no frame of reference for this material. It is time to get the hell out of Lovecraft country but instead like a sacrificial lamb he wanders towards the bowl of food, not knowing that bowing his head to eat is a nod to the officiating priest. Things will not end well for our unwitting herald.

Do people sometimes nod sagely as if your words contain some other meaning? Do you keep getting introductions to shady people in nearby towns who treat you with surprising respect? Have you had any weird dreamlike experiences or experienced periods of lost or broken time? Either way I doubt it is coincidental.
