This is tame and tastefull. A little bit of slice of life that people here in this forum, many of them neutral about this pairing, said was lacking for Clark and Diana.
Which issue was this supposed to be from, may I ask? Would this still be canon despite being cut (like deleted scenes in movies occasionally are)?
Just putting this out there:
Superman and Wonder Woman will be guest starring in Tony Daniel's current title Deathstroke ... it would be awesome if he were allowed to use this image (or something to the equivalent) somewhere in that arc. It would give the editorial staff a chance to redeem themselves
Too Racy is code for its not needed

Hi all.
please keep this thread on topic.
had to delete a lot of posts.
Thank you
No, it just means they're still prudish when it comes to Diana. Hopefully the overwhelmingly positive response to the pic on Instagram where it was originally posted will show DC that such imagery won't be viewed as an affront to the character nor will it create any realistic backlash that they'll have to defend against. Its not going to bother anyone unless you get real explicit, which this image was not in any facet of the imagination.

I think that superhero comics should be written mainly for children so I would say yes.
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

First off, I love this pic. Tony Daniels really outdid himself with it. I just want to say that.
As for it being too racy...all I can say to that is this is 2015. Compared to some of the stuff characters like Starfire, Black Cat, and Emma Frost get away with on a regular basis, this might as well be a Disney movie. There's nothing gratuitous about it. There's nothing overly pornographic about it. It's just two consenting adults in love sharing an intimate moment. How can that possibly be too racy when just a few years ago they had Starfire bed hopping with the Outlaws? I get that Wonder Woman and Superman aren't Starfire. But these comics aren't like the old kids shows. They're more mature and they exist in a more mature universe. So it really does bother me that this gets called "racy" when it's so tame compared to other recent examples.

Let's not go there anymore.
I didn't see this. The book is T+? I think not. Even then, I remember similar scenes even in PG books.
edit 1 - Ah. It's a pity some posts were deleted. It was all in good fun and nobody got hurt. It was cool to do some good will for the BM/WW fans (New Avengers 'BM' inheriting 'WW's lasso), LOL. Notice I'm not questioning the moderators, just saying it wasn't childish drama or something like that, LOL. But if the thread maker didn't want it, it's cool.
I also think that Blacksun's last post was a picture of a pairing in bed and a valid example for this thread, and not off-topic.
edit 2 - I've read all over that this panel shouldn't have been shown because Superman shouldn't have sex before marriage, 'cause he's a farmboy, Diana should stay a virgin, Clark has 'midwestern values', it could upset oldschool fans... For real? Anyone here really believes this? In the Silver Age Supes was dating space-mermaid-phoenix-amazons. And we are going to reverse the character like that? And Diana already had sex with Steve. We are going to reverse that too? WTH?
I'm sorry Brett, you have some good arguments, but for all of that I can't believe you really believe yourself. We are in 2015. That shark was jumped years ago. Nobody cares if Superman and Wonder Woman have sex. C'mon. Who exactly would it bother?
