What do you guys think are the chances of Jaime Reyes being one of the characters used in that recently announced Titans live action pilot/show. I hope he is used since he needs more mainstream exposure.

I would love to see him -- and he'd be so perfect on this kind of show as a character. My fear for why they might not use him is that I think his Beetle costume/abilities is hard to translate to live action TV and not have it look awful (like on Smallville). It might be hard on a limited TV budget. However, if they are trying Starfire, who I never would of thought would translate well to live action TV either, who knows...

Anyone else think Jaime Reyes should become a Blue Lantern?

Young Justice was one of DC's most popular cartoons in years and Jaime as Blue Beetle played a huge role in the storyline. I think it would be a bad move to alter Jaime if DCE and WB are trying to create more synergy between their comics and multimedia.
It's nice that Ted is back but if it means that Jaime has to get shelved I'm not for it.

Looking at it reminded me of Ted's BB gun. I hope that when Ted shows up in JL3k, he'll get some weapons upgrade.

Dan Garret has been published by various publishers (Fox, Holyoke and Charlton).

Blue Beetle's original costume design is at first a derivative of the Green Hornet. His later costume design is reminiscent of Lee Falk's the Phantom.

Years later, Blue Beetle was given Superman powers like flight, super-strength and X-Ray vision, etc

These are great Zetsubou! Love that picture of Blue Beetle soaring over that Art Deco skyline.
Here's hoping that at least one of the universes/timelines we get a glimpse of in the next year includes Dan Garrett...
