Default Marvel's 2015 Line-Up! (Guess who is not on the poster)

    Wow.

Well, at least Wasp is up on front with the movie-people. That made me super happy.

That's a good looking group of characters. Worth billions literally.

No one that I read, but comic fans don't really matter to Di$ney.

Whose the dog in the spacesuit? I must know that character that beat out Storm, Cyclops and the Thing for a place on this poster.

So... they found a way to bring Doc Ock back from the dead? Or... is that some kind of alternate version? I'd rather see Rhino back from the dead, if I'm 100% honest.

Oh no! A poster which has no defined evidence of having anything to do with All New Marvel hasn't got X-Men or Fantastic Four characters on it, all is surely lost!

If people should be complaining about anything it's that there's no Falcon Cap, Lady Thor, Kamala's Ms Marvel, Spider Gwen and the like on there. And Crystal is!

Ms. Marvel is there. She's right in the middle, just above Falcon.

This image isn't new. Saw this already this past Christmas.

What?!? Wait! When did Aleksei M. Sytsevich die?

About 3 years ago, before Superior Spider-Man, in Amaz Spider-Man #687 ("Ends of the Earth" story).

This is the same story that killed Silver Sable.

Anyway, getting back to the X/FF thing...

I do think the Complexers have some valid points. TPTB@Marvel have generally been expressing Anti-X sentiments since JoeyQ stepped into his office. Since 2004, story after story has done nothing but marginalize mutants on every level. Inhumans are the new mutants-- there is no disputing this. Even writers like Claremont have bolstered the claims by saying creating new mutant characters is officially not what Marvel wants. Despite the obvious validity, I do think Marvel will continue to have X-Books and FF books, but none with a great deal of focus and probably a lot more marginalization.

But when it comes to merchandising, it surely sucks, but I really don't care much. To this day, I've never bought X-Men merchandise in my life-- no figures, t-shirts, posters, etc.
[the closest thing to an X-Men shirt I ever bought was paying an airbrusher to put that Wolverine/Sabes Joe Jusko trading card on a t-shirt for my little brother back in the 90s]

In the grand scheme of things comic readers are a small part of the overall audience for Marvel's productions. Most of the characters featured prominently on here are all people Marvel is pushing in other media.

    This isn't Marvel's 2015 comic line-up.

    http://www.bleedingcool.com/2015/05/...antastic-four/

It's a general marketing picture to be used on merchandise and clothing and stuff like that. It has nothing to do with the post-Secret Wars Marvel Universe (if you notice most of the costumes don't even match up).

They've used similar images in the past.

Come on guys, this is how false info gets spread.
