Hawkman/Thor



Hawkman, in his secret identity of archeologist Carter Hall, discovered an ancient Viking battle hammer on a dig. On site, he was attacked by Asgardian dark elves, trolls, and frost giants who were after the hammer. Hall switched to his alter ego, but was almost defeated. At the last moment, he reached for the hammer and was immediately clad in divine armor and filled with the power of the Asgardian god of thunder, Thor, whereupon he swiftly destroyed his enemies.

Hawkman's look and color scheme are based on the 1990's version of the character

Sorry this is taking so long. I was busy with other things, but I started work on the Lex Luthor/cosmic hero hybrid yesterday and it's coming along. Once the ball gets rolling I just keep the artwork within sight and it gets done. So no worries there.

Thanks for saying. There are 2 mistakes that I can see, but they don't ruin the effect so I left them in. There's a highlight smack dab in the middle of the kilt where a shadow should be, and his left boot has one too many ridges.

I'm thinking of trying out the Marvel jam. See you there.
