I prefer the Original but the new one does seem to get out that she's going to be her own Spider-Girl now and not just using someone else's costume. However I don't like how her upper torso seems armored but her legs aren't, makes it look strange.

I'm sure that Peter wouldn't be able to stop himself from joking about that design choice.

Where is the current look from? I can't say I'm a fan. The upper body looks like a puffy jacket stapled to body armor. And then nothing down below.

I actually prefer her original Araña look. I wasn't crazy about it way back when but there was something unique about it. She didn't strike me as the typical super hero and that's what she kind of become with the Arachne-inspired look.

The new one just looks awkward for a character that's going to be swinging across rooftops.

In later issues she dropped the coat, but kept the headgear and gloves. It looked pretty good then, kind of amalgamated some Arana elements with the old Arachne costume. But the one posted was meant as silly.

It would be more entertaining if they put a pie on the top of the mask/helmet/head covering/device.

That new costume is so gross that it better be a joke.

I thought the original Arana costume was totally cool; sure, it might not have screamed "I'm just like Spidey so buy my comic!" But it was fun and original and I thought it provided a clear idea of who Anya was as a character. Plus I liked the goggles. The goggles were so excellent.

I never thought that I would want nobody to purchase a comic, but... this. Ugh. This needs to not sell, and Marvel need to put it back how it was. It was perfectly fine how it was.
