Hmmm. I don't see any ambiguity..."My mother told me about you Princess" meaning she has information about Diana, from her mother, including the fact that she is stronger without her bracelets. Very clear. Then "(My mother told me all about)...your queen and her sheep" meaning she also has information about the queen, and the Amazons, information that makes her consider them sheep.
It's not about 'deserve' it's about what you believe. And I believe in Love.
Did they retcon the Amazons' background again? Diana states she's the only child born on Themyscira when it was established earlier the Amazons went on raiding parties to get impregnated.

It was a good issue. Though it sucks that Johns seemed to throw out everything that happened on E2 with MM/Barda/Fury. Would love to see Fury show up.
Freaking AWESOME!
I'm loving how Johns is handling Diana, now. I'm loving that he may have retconned the sex raids. And I'm loving Grail. She's a badass and a worthy foe for Diana.
As far as Grail goes? I gotta say, I'm kinda torn. On the one hand? Diana desperately needs a truly powerful and complex recurring villain, and Grail looks like she'll fit the bill brilliantly. On the other hand? We haven't really had enough redemption stories from Diana. Seeing Diana redeem Darkseid's daughter would be a Hell of a great accomplishment for her.
Either way? I'm loving this story so much, I'm just going to ignore Luthor's presence on the League, and hope that he leaves after this story.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
--Lord Alfred Tennyson--
A great official start to The Darkseid War. Grail is a truly menacing villain. Mr. Miracle hasn't been this interesting since the original JLI days. I'm also hoping that Wonder Woman will redeem Grail. I think it would be fun to see Grail face off with Superwoman at some point.
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Alan Scott: Green Lantern, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jay Garrick: The Flash, Justice Society of America, Power Girl, Superman, Shazam, Titans, Wesley Dodds: Sandman, Wonder Woman, & World's Finest: Teen Titans.
Wonder Woman's still 23 years old right?
the way she was talking made her seem older?
The J-man
