Nightcrawler has already been recruited off-panel for unconvincing reason to forgo prioritizing Earth criminals to catch a generic space bad guy. And what a cloying cowinkydink, it's a cutlass competition where, with cliche consistency, Kurt refrains from cutting and is in cahoots with a chronologically confusing non-BVmirrorenhanced Gamora. He is there to skillfully advance, in uninspired rushed choreography, thru a guantlet that seems to concentrate more on introducing kewl sounding alien names to throwaway. She is there because somebody from the GotG have to be since it's their book. After it's all over - they go out for drinks together. They go out for drinks together?! Hmmph.

Sounds just like I thought it would go. Another waste of team up. Glad I dropped this current era of Guardians.
