Worst character costumes/designs ever

Whole thread could be anything from the Injustice franchise, but for some notable ones to shine a spotlight of shame on:

Superman design for year 5 was indeed horrendous, too armourish/bulky and pointless imo

Flash' one gets a pass from me, I dont quite mind about it tbh

However, I think I may be among the few that actually liked WW Injustice2 costume. For some reason, the Gold/Silver and warrior-ish aesthetic of it makes me smile
Altough for some reason, that only happens with the comic one, as I dont like the game one (but being fair, I didnt like most of the designs there lol)

Edit: Come on guys, why do you hate Injustice that much? I mean, I get that you dont like how the JL was portrayed there (especially Superman and WW), and all the HQ stuff

But you cant deny the premise was interesting, the game entertaining, and the comic well built/written (#BasedTaylor)

Gangbuster was always one of my favorite characters but his costume was brutal. would love to see him brought back but with a redesigned suit.

They probably mean the Jose Delgado incarnation, who first assumed the mantle.
The split personality Superman only took it up for a stint.

And yeah would love to see him back, although he'd absolutely need a re-imagined costume.

Think all the costume designs got even worse in sequel with the whole armored aesthetic. Only good costumes to me in either game are the DLC skins from stuff like the movies because NS had no say in the design process on those.

Can’t speak for anyone else but I wouldn’t call Injustice an interesting premise since Evil Superman is probably the most overdone trope in superhero media. Not mention just it has just about every modern terrible DC cliche; Batgod and Joker worship, Wonder Woman as evil harpy and arm candy for a Trinity member, Lois Lane getting fridged, anything with Harley Quinn.

The Taylor written comics are even worse than the game if you ask me.

I also despise the Hawkfire costume and name. Other costumes I hate are the Burnside Batgirl suit, Helena B's first Huntress costume, and the Drake suit.

I actually liked Lobo's new 52 look and costume.The whole burly biker dude look with the chain is just bad imo.Like sure keep the long hair and attitude even a beard but for crying out loud EVERY hero in DC already is burly as fq so why go the same route with every character.Lobo is immortal does he need muscle mass to best superheroes or supervillains?

I liked her 1st costume but it looks better with long hair. But her 2nd costume was top notched; it looks great with her short hair and I loved that her halo changed colors when each aura she used. The other one was a complete mess.

I LIKED Diana (Wonder Woman) in leather

I DONT like the actual Conner Costume (I LOVED the old Pre-Flashpoint Costume)
the patches, short sleeves etc. make it look worse than the original one.

I DONT like the actual Starfire.
I prefered the Pre-Flashpoint Starfire

I ALWAYS prefer the Pre-Flashpoint ADULT Raven over other Raven.

I HATED Wonder Woman (Diana) in NEW52 when she was wearing this FULL BODY Costume.

NEW52 Tim Drake was GREAT-I HATE DRAKE Tim Drake.

Generally i really like DC Costumes.
For me Marvel has the Ultimate prize on bad costume design (Falcon, Hawkeye, Wolverine, Elektra, Yellowjacket)... for me they're hard to look at, but speaking of DC...

- New 52 Teen Titans... simply AWFUL. Each and every one of them.
- Electric Superman
- New Teen Titans (from the 80s)... i simply hate disco nightwing and cyborg's look.

What is the problem with

I still wish that there would be an Elseworld Comic which features the ELECTRIC SUPERMAN.
It was only bad, because it replaced the ORIGINAL SUPERMAN, but the Costume,Powers etc. were INCREDIBLE GREAT.

NEW52 Tim Drake Red Robin Costume was PERFECT!!!

I HATE this Costume which Superman wears often in Injustice and he was wearing a similar costume in a Doomsday fight (the one with the bone spears and sound cannon).
He wears the NORMAL COSTUME, BUT!! there is also a kind of strap or so which is around his chin and ears.

NEW52+Rebirth Supergirl...I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pre-Flashpoint Supergirl...She was just perfect for me, beautiful face, nice classic costume etc.

NEW 52 Tim Drake looks like an utter trainwreck.

I also think Martian Manhunter has always looked terrible. Terrible character, terrible look.

I never read something with this character, but the COLORED Costume looks GREAT-so different to others which I have seen so far..

I only didnt like NEW52 Ravens face-mask which also covered her eyes.

I LOVED Azrael as Batman....

These were definitely the worst of Donna and Jason's MANY costumes, IMO

So...I know what they were going for with him being Red. And I actually don't...hate the design, overall. But everything about this is just so....not Gar. It's one of those designs that would be alright if it was on a different character.

The top is way too over-designed (even if it is deliberate) but I think the bottom is a cult classic .

Only thing I hated about the Burnside suit was that Barbara suddenly looked about 15 years younger than she did before she wore that suit. And the Drake suit looks like the artists and writers had diarrhea all over Tim Drake, which is appropriately meta.

I don't think the Drake identity or costume will age well.

The New52 Red Robin costume was excellent. It was a great design. The New52 story behind Tim Drake was beyond terrible and deserves to be on the ash-heap of history.

The look for New52 Cassie Sandsmark was actually pretty good; the problem was that she was, I think, supposed to be 15 and the artists drew her in overly-sexualized ways. Some of the poses they put her in were about one step above a softcore porn comic.

Hated the New52 Supergirl suit. It was weird that it looked like a one-piece bathing suit with arms, but the legs were exposed except for the weird boots. Either give her the skirt, or give her pants.

New52 Raven was another 'What the hell were they thinking' costume. She looked like an evil Dove.

LOVED Azrael Batman with the armored suit.

Robo-Batman kind of grew on me, but it did look ridiculous.

The de-aging was one thing but it also just felt ridiculous that someone of Babs' purported experience and pedigree as a vigilante would be running around in a homemade costume like this was her first year as a vigilante.

I get in-context it was makeshift but it should not have lasted as long as it did.
