Worst character costumes/designs ever

dc and marvel had some pretty spectacular fails through out its history. lets focus on DC though. this isn't meant to be a bashing thread just some fun and teasing. only rules i could think of for this thread is it has to be DC and it has to be terrible. feel free to put revamped costumes in here. wonder woman has a few terrible ones. ill start out with this awesome picture of Tyroc. plenty of old LOSH costumes can be put in this thread so I'm going with my favorite.

The Arsenal costume looks pretty silly, if only because I don't think he pulls off purple well; plus, that mask is silly. And all them pouches! I'm guessing 90s design? xD

The Wonder Woman costume...Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Those stomach straps... The black bra thing...It is nooooot clicking. The former is unnecessary, and the latter would look quite better as some form of metallic armor. However, I oddly do like the tight running shorts and the jacket, though I kinda wish she had an aviator's jacket in place of that one. I like the thought of her thinking herself a one-woman air force while flying the Invisible Jet. xD

I'm guessing the top one is Big Berta? Or Donna Troy? Either way, I LOVE that design! It really complements that huge smile she has, has a sort of free-spirited energy to it. Maybe it's because of the fact that she still has some of her upper thigh showing? And yet it still can be reliably called armor, providing protection for those ever-important knees and arms (I'm guessing there's metal or some other ballistics-resistant material beneath the fabric that marks her chest as well).

Any redesign for her is wrong-headed since the original design is so darned good--it's not crying out to be replaced.

The Tyroc outfit is fun. The reason why it's problematic has to do with the character. On someone else (like Elvis) it could work. There were other LSH redesigns in the '70s that bothered me a lot more. Cosmic Boy comes to mind.

Ewww. That don't even look right. Maybe it's my Young Justice viewings effecting my judgement, but if Zatanna's characterization is anything like that in the comics (at least back when that design came out), that really doesn't seem to fit with that personality. But even discounting that...The outfit looks like something befitting a cage match brawler, not an advanced magician/mage. I mean, what the heck are even those things on her fingers? Rings? Brass (or silver?) knuckles? WTF MOFO?! xD

That said, I do like the silly cone-collared cape. Reminds me of that one magician guy from The Venture Bros. And Van Ghoul from Scooby Doo. xD

It's Donna Troy, when she first started to go by Troia. And, at the time, she had the ability to generate force-fields, so the armor really wasn't all that needed.

I'm actually a big fan of Canary's 80's Olivia Newton John "Let's Get Physical" look.

Ravens is really one of the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Not a fan of most of the New 52 redesigns.

Remember it took me forever to make my custom '80s Black Canary heroclix figure for my JLI team (not as long as Guy Gardner, but still). And yeah, awful costume.

Losh, they have the most stupid and corniest costumes.

I really love the Legionnaries/Post Zero Hour unified redesigns. I think most of them are great. Of course, not all of them can be winners (I'm looking at you Leviathan).

I loved the '70s Cockrum ones.

Yeah. IMHO, Cockrum was one of the best costume designers of the industry. EVER. (And in contrast with Leviathan, his Colossal Boy was awsome.)

Whaaat, I love trench coat Bat, and Superman blue. Sinestros old costume looks like the one he has with the ultraviolet spectrum. I'll be honest, I haaaate the way the Black Racer looks. Knight helmet and literal skis...
