I get in-context it was makeshift but it should not have lasted as long as it did.
    It should've lasted longer imo

Well, media adaptions are still using it, so there's that.

I actually agree to an extent. I'm not opposed to flamboyance by any means and was more so going off how some found his look to be a stereotype and offensive.

So yeah, I personally have less of an issue with the costume. Now the story line of a gay character being attacked by an "AIDS vampire" though...

The New52 Red Robin costume was excellent. It was a great design. The New52 story behind Tim Drake was beyond terrible and deserves to be on the ash-heap of history.

The look for New52 Cassie Sandsmark was actually pretty good

Hated the New52 Supergirl suit. It was weird that it looked like a one-piece bathing suit with arms, but the legs were exposed except for the weird boots. Either give her the skirt, or give her pants.

New52 Raven was another 'What the hell were they thinking' costume. She looked like an evil Dove.

LOVED Azrael Batman with the armored suit.

Robo-Batman kind of grew on me, but it did look ridiculous.
TIM DRAKE was always kind of strange:
Red Robin Costumes were great (NEW52 and Pre-Flashpoint)
    Batman Costume was also nice..

But he changed BOTH for a costume which I hate:
He was Batman and then became SAVIOR...
He was Red Robin and then became DRAKE...

I liked NEW52 Cassandra Sandsmark, because:
    a) She looked more like an Amazon, because she was muscular and also tall, if I remember right..I remember her standing for example next to Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman was only taller than her, but not more muscular
    b) She FINALLY got a real Superhero outfit, NOT only Shirt and Jeans etc.
I really really LOVED the red SUIT with the pieces of armour around her neck, shoulders and forearms...

For CASSANDRA CAIN I LOVE the Orphan look WITH Full-Face Mask....

I would to agree with you, if the costume would be black (like the one used by Julie Newmar), but with that green color and those scales it seems more adapt to a "Lizard-lady" than to a proper Catwoman; at least for me.

    "...an armored suit"?

    That doesn't read as armor.
Why would superman need armor for his regular suit?

I actually really liked that costume... in the beginning. It was pretty sleek and streamlined, while still looking armored and fierce. I also LOVE the closed helmet and think that Bruce should have always worn something like that. His face is on too many magazines to have just his chin sunburned from firefly or teeth knocked out. That thing is his moneymaker.

But yeah, I like classic Azbats a whole lot better then the monstrosity he ended up with. Too many bells and whistles ruined the designs.

It actually was stated to be armor. The New 52 was weird.

For what it's worth, the imagery of Dehydrated Bodybuilder has become shorthand for strong in popular media when, frankly, Alex Ross draws a Superman that looks like he could bench press a train.

    I dont understand the problem
I have to say that Jim Lee is my favorite DC Artist and based on Art Superman Unchained is still my favorite Comic Series.

I rather had problems with one image of Superman in Rebirth (the one with the 2 Clark Kents-as Superman fights against the 2 guys who want to kill Lex, because he becomes the emperor of Apokolips there is at the end one image in which Superman stands and Clark goes away)

There is a picture in which Conner,Cassie,Bart,Supergirl,Jackson,Miss Martian,Raven...build up a FUTURE JL...

    RAVEN and CASSANDRA SANDSMARK...

Raven because she she has (seemingly) blue skin and her costume has many applications..

Superman regularly tangles with enemies and technology in his own weight class and above, the more protection he has the less hurt he'll be when they inflict damage on him. I agree it really does not look like armor how it's drawn.
