Worst character costumes/designs ever

THE NIPPLES! DEAR GOD, THE NIPPLES! And notice that even though "Batgirl's" costume was designed by her "uncle" Alfred, it still had nipples too. Kinda pervy. Can you imagine the George Clooney Batman up against the Dark Knight Joker? Or course he'd probably have some magic Duex Ex Machina device in his utility belt to stop Joker five minutes after meeting him.

I'd actually kind of like to see a New52 reboot of the Red Bee. Maybe give him a device that let's him summon bees the way Batman summoned bats in Year One and Begins. Give him a leather/metal one piece armor. Ditch the stripes.

Actually, he couldn't win this, because that's an intentional design (thanks to Morrison) rather than someone making a design that everyone just happens to hate.

Case in point the earlier point I (and you) made about Lee. That's his design of Darkseid unfortunately.(not his drawing...not sure who the artist is there). When he designs costumes, he just clutters things up with so many useless details, it looks more dated than the costume he "updated". That (and Superman's redesign) looked cool....in 1995. I mean, why does Darkseid need such huge shoulder pads and so much ornate detail on his clothing?

Nothing beats the original Jack Kirby version...but Howard Porter's design from the JLA ROCK OF AGES arc of future Darkseid looked quite boss.

For the love of God! A guy hanging around only with a red waistcoat and a bathing suit showing legs hairy baggy socks and hairy chest? This is kind of not being aware of the ridiculous. This visual works with Hercules of Marvel Comics because he has a physique that makes up but Vartox looks more like a member of the Village People
