I know I don't post here often, so take this for what it's worth...

Not being on social media outside of instagram, I'm blissfully unaware of day to day "controversy". But I will say this: in regards to Mark's integrity, writing and knowledge of the Hellboy Universe, he's my goddamn hero.

It wasn't what I said, but what I retweeted (and have since unretweeted). Mignolaversity is essentially a promotional column, and I don't feel I can participate unless I 100% know what I'm promoting. I've put myself in that position before and it seriously depressed me, and I wasn't willing to do it again. I'm still a fan and still a reader though, I'm just not part of the marketing machine anymore. I may do some more eventually, but for now, I'm taking a break.

Taking a break can be a good thing.

Yeah, as a huge fan of both writers this is sad to see.

And I'll miss Middenway's Mignolaversity stuff too - his work is an incredible resource for new and old readers alike.
