That's so misleading, now. I have to ignore stars in the sky in all books. But what about the Thors in Secret Wars #2, saying "notice how it's much darker now, because there are less stars in the sky now?", so does even Hickman and Ribic get it wrong too.

I enjoy KSD's Captain Marvel, but when she adds a co-writer the stories just get incredible. This issue was awesome and I'm looking forward to the next issue.

Have we seen Baroness Cochran before or is she new for this series?

I may be mistaken, but wasn't that in answer to a question about the Infinity Gauntlet title? Meanwhile, Ribic puts stars in the 'present' in multiple panels in the same title. Too late to edit... if we see stars on panel in the main book showing us Battleworld, then Battleworld has stars, full stop.

The thing with Ribic's stars is that they are only^ visible on the 'flip side' of Battleworld, through the pool, where the Cabal-raft was found. It could be significant, that the old universe still exists, somehow dimensionally folded on the inside of Battleworld. That could also explain why the underbelly of Battleworld consists of remnants from the previous universe (the raft, the dead bodies).

^ - There is one notable exception in SW #2 when the Thors fly off to Bar Sinister. Stars are shown both above Doomgard as well as Higher Avalon. So either that is a mistake or my whole theory crumbles to (star)dust.
