Default Anyone here read Five Weapons by Jimmie Robinson?

I bought the first trade on Free Comic Book Day and I didn't regret it. Felt the final reveals needed another issue though. How is the current storyline?

The second story arc is a lot of fun. It's about Tyler taking on Enrique using his own tactics against him. If you liked the first story arc, the second one is a lot of fun as well. You'll like it.

Aye, the second arc just picks up where the first left off with a couple of twists (including a sixth weapon clan!).

    Sooooo good, this series!

Ha ha... I HAD to real this book as the main character was named after someone I know. Plus it was the writer of Bomb Queen...

This title is such a treat to enjoy every issue. It has a wide variety of different types of characters, and the art is enhanced by the story. The way things go I'm finding myself constantly combing the pages to try and see what Enrique sees. This is definitely one of my favorite titles out right now, and I hope it continues for many years to come.

One of my favorites (althought I'm really impressed by most of Image's output). The new storyline is pretty cool as the script has been flipped a bit with Enrique being the odd man out and Tyler coming in and getting all the accolades. Really happy with the new direction and it's opened up some great moments for the characters.

When I catch up, I'm going to turn this into an appreciation thread if I can.

Of the original club leaders, which one is your favorite? I really liked Rick the Stick, Jade the Blade, and June the Loon.

June the Loon. The weirdos are always the most fun to read.

I've quite enjoyed this comic and I have been especially enjoying this second arc where Tyler has finally gotten a formidable foe to go up against. I also like the fact that every issue is crammed full of story. This is a not comic that drags its feet, is decompressed, or even padded out. The story is always moving forward and not a single scene is wasted.
