How about Excalibur/New Excalibur/MI 13 Survivor? Or just Marvel UK Survivor.

Given that the Marvel UK comics were only sold in the UK, I don't think many are known on these boards. But feel free to start one.

Actually, I bought all my stuff in the U.S. . . . and I'm not even sure if the Marvel U.K. books released in the early 1990s had as much of an availability in the U.K. as in the US.

Was the recent Revolutionary War series even aimed at the UK market as much as at the US market?

To tell the truth I never knew there was a Marvel UK until finding out about them from MBs. Maybe the local LCS back then simply didn't order them?? I just can't remember much about them in those pre-internet days.

May have depended on where you live, too. I'm about an hour outside of NYC, and many of the writers, artists, and others in the business would live out my way. Amanda Conner use to work at the store where I'd hang out / help out when she was starting to get work in comic books, and guys like Mike Gold, John Ostrander, Jerry Ordway, Bob Wayne, and others were around. (This was back in the late 1980s / early 1990s.)

Well then, Excalibur/MI 13 would be a good one. Plenty of recognizable characters.

What about favourite cosmic heroes? Those heroes who regularly go on space-based adventures or come from extra-terrestrial origins, including Thor, Nova, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Warlock (both of them) etc?

Or favourite heroes with a mystical connection?

I actually like the general Marvel UK one.

    But I'm old and weird.
