Thor took to the sky, Mjolnir crackling with energy. He turned to face his opponents.

He would have to contend with King Gidorah and Gigan

Gammastorm flew up alongside the mighty god. "Hope you don't mind an assist, Thor!" he said, as he fired a sustained gamma burst at Gigan, zooming closer to the monster to pummel it with his powerful fists.

Rick, watch out! That thing has powerful blades! Don't get...

"Oh, hey, Doc! Glad to see you back! I was worried about y...!!" But his response was cut off as Gigan, taking advantage of his distracted state, walloped him soundly, sending the irradiated youth hurtling down into the trees below.

Gammastorm shook his head, upper lip curling in anger. "Okay, you oversized can opener, now you've gone and made this kid mad. And you won't like me when I'm mad!"

Trees and shrubs burst aflame as Gammastorm rocketed forth once more, careening towards Gigan in a gamma-powered blur!

There's a mutant here with the ability to manipulate the telluric field of Earth and took up the name of Superman during World War 2 after escaping an internment camp. However, after years of being continually disappointed with humanity, he's finding it harder and harder to truly care about them, and his Brotherhood reflects that changing attitude, along with his vendetta against Lex Luthor. However, the history until recently is kinda sketchy for both men and might have to do with the artifact we're looking for.." he said, his sentence being finished off by a new arrival. A man garbed in heroic attire who the others seem to welcome rather happily.

"Jafar's lamp. Yes, from the movie Aladdin. Hard to believe, but it's on Lincoln's list of powerful from previous Traitor Games that could help save reality. Probably why the history of this world is so different" he said, floating down to the ground and greeting Clark.

"I think the lamp is located in the wreckage up ahead, or at least it's energy signature is coming from there strangely enough. We should investigate now" he told The other Wanderers

"Agreed. Come along Dex-Starr, and I dont think I need to tell you to be careful" Clark said as he took lead of the group, honing in on the energy signature

"What thisss lamp do?" asked Dex-Starr as he followed the others. "Work like lanterns Green Lanterns ussse? I Rrred Lantern, not need lamp," he added.

Meanwhile, on Monster Island, it hadn't taken Terrence Thirteen long to realize he was definitely outclassed when it came to combat skills. He'd been focusing instead on what he could do for the injured. "Can you weave bandages?" he asked the Weaver?

I again tried to go after the Nullifier. With his cybernetic tracking senses and his own psychic power--I could feel him trying to peer into my mind--he made himself a hard target to catch. But I managed. I snatched the Nullifier away from him. As soon as I did so, however, I was surrounded by dark, fox-like creatures, each about human-size. I tossed the Nullifier to Linda and thoughtcasted, Linda, listen to me. The Nullifier responds to willpower and while it is dangerous, it is one thing someone like Henshaw would fear. Threaten him with it and tell him how you could end his existence with a thought!

Dodging among the combatants, Dr. Thirteen reached Roy's side. Do what you need to do," he told him; "I'll try to keep the the fox-creatures busy." Assuming I can figure out how to use this thing, he thought, brandishing a strange weapon he'd grabbed. He was doing his best to hold off the fox-like beings when he heard Circe's call.

Things are really getting crazy now, Terrence thought. I hope that speedster woman can hold on to the nullifier until the Monitor can get us out of here.

Henshaw couldn't answer but Ultra Rogue would see a slight smirk-quickly blasted away-as he tried to shift his head out of the way, Martian physiology not adhering to his thoughts due to the two pronged assault of heated energy. He barley managed to eke out his Martian Vision but Saturn Girl's psionic strikes had been taxing, as well as the monsters turning on him at all fronts.

"The only thing our foe deserves is a swift death." She replied coolly. "Was there at any point that we did have fun?" The Cyborg Sage asked continuing her laser assault.

Ultra-Rogue and Cyborg Sage eventually broke off their assault, exhausted but victorious, as Henshaw's writhing and burning form was swarmed by the monsters he once commanded. Once they'd reached a safe place, the Eternal Mutant wiped sweat from her brow and sat down.

"Ah dunno about you, Tess, but ah mighty liked the part where we melted his face halfway inta his chest. Sure did shut him up for a bit."

Her hands were still covering her eyes. Something was wrong.

Thor heartily clasped Ultra Rogue on the shoulder, smiling.

"Your faith in me is most appreciated, Rogue. Truly, you are a most noble ally!"

"Glad you think so," she replied, still somewhat uneasy with Thor's continued manner of friendshp, "Now maybe it's just Saturn Gal's mind-link or maybe it's th' shifty looks those two are givin' me, but ah figure Circe an' Gammastorm ain't on your page.

If they have a problem with me, they oughta step up an' say it to my face."

Overhead, the battle begins between the two rampaging royal rulers. Fin Fang Doom lunges at Godzilla, headbutting him between the eyes. The King of Monsters slightly recoils, but swiftly retaliates by gripping Doom's head with his left hand and delivering a THUNDEROUS uppercut with the right. To the denizens of Monster Island, it is like watching two gods fight. Godzilla's awesome assault begins in earnest after that blow, raining punches down on Doom that sound like a certain Outkast song. Left, right, left right with purely inhuman precision one would not expect to find from a monster, let alone their king. However, Doom is not completely on the ropes and grabs Godzilla's hands, pushing them away and then decks the Lord Lizard with a stupendous straight right, then left, leading to an attempt to cap it with an overhand right which Godzilla blocks by grabbing Doom's arm, a sound like a thunderbolt splitting! Then with a mighty throw he tosses Fin Fang Doom over his head, but Doom flapps his wings and launches himself at Godzilla in mid-air like a full blown monster missile!

The King of All Monsters steels himself as Fin Fang Doom burrows into his chest, digging his feet into the ground and delivering a two-fisted slam to the creature's back, slamming the Makluan monstrosity to the ground. Taking advantage of his foes slack nature, Godzilla pulls Fin Fang Doom up by its tail, grabs its waist, then does what some humans would call a piledriver. Cavern Doom trembles with terrible tremors from each blow, the intensity increasing as Fin Fang Doom savagely strikes at the King of Monsters. While Fin Fang Doom's power is great, his opponent has great power in addition to experience. Our heroes and the residence of Monster Island witness Godzilla devastatingly dismantle the ultimate usurper, his fists guided like cruise missiles, knocking Doom around left and right, then with a powerful uppercut KNOCKING OFF HIS MASK!

The powerful blow from Godzilla sends Fin Fang Doom sprawling across the terrain of Monster Island, knocking a mountain into rubble.

"My mask, noooo! They can see my face now!" Fin Fang Doom says, his monstrous mug on display. Godzilla kicks the mask out of his way as Doom gets up and barely is able to defend an elbow drop from Godzilla, digging his heels into the dirt and pushing the atomic powered all father of monsters back. This doesn't deter Godzilla, even when Fin Fang Doom gathers up his energy and fires a blast of heat at him. If one looks closely, they'd see Godzilla's face turn up in disgust as he retaliates with the atomic fires that birthed him. Blue clashes against red, then overtakes just as quickly. Fin Fang Doom puts up his arms in a paltry defense, a serpentine sound of skin shedding as he is fried by Godzilla's flames. Body scorched and barely coherent, let alone conscious, Godzilla descends upon Fin Fang Doom, holding the body over his head. He then roars and the monsters look amongst themselves.

"Their minds are so alien, but I think I know what they're talking about. Godzilla is askin' for them ta judge Fin Fang Doom and the other members of the Monster Society of Evil. He's letting the creatures decide," Saturn Girl says, looking up with the others. The yellow rat who helped Hawkman earlier steps up and shouts something. He then points overhead. Godzilla looks to his left and sees CAPTAIN MARVEL!

"Godzilla, your highness. I know this is your domain and the judgment lies in whatever punishment you wish to dole out. However, seeing as Fin Fang Doom and the attackers are not residents of this island, one of them even being a transformed human, would you let me take them to a place where they can be judged for their crimes and never bother you or your kind again?" he asks the King of Monster Island. Godzilla stares long and hard at Captain Marvel. Worry is etched on Saturn Girl's face that they might have another battle on their hands. However, that worry disperses when Godzilla hefts Fin Fang Doom, formerly Thaddeus Bodog Sivana, into the arms of Captain Marvel.

"Thank you, your majesty. Mary! Freddy! Come retrieve Gigan and Ghidorah as well! We're going to clean up Monster Island for the King!" he says as two blurs, white and blue, pass through and lift up the two Monster Society generals. Captain Marvel then flies away with Fin Fang Doom, who is unconscious and sputtering about ruling the new world, leaving our heroes with Godzilla looking down on them, roaring at the creatures and our heroes. It is hard to tell what the monster is thinking but thankfully, there is an interpreter or two. Tawky Tawny walks over with the yellow rat, who waves happily at Hawkman, then whispers into Tawny's ear. Tawny clears his throat before speaking.

"Master Pikachu wants you to know our king allows you safe passage off the island. However, he would like for you to leave the Cyborg with us. He smells different and our majesty is a being who wishes to preserve life. If you decide not to, he says he should be dealt with and laid to rest, because this Cyborg isn't truly alive, a soulless abomination."

"He said all that?" Saturn Girl asks, surprised. She turns to our heroes and asks, "Well, group, do we take Henshaw or leave him?"

Some are still full of adrenaline from the fight and want their own piece of the Cyborg Manhunter. After a few moments, however, everyone is persuaded that the best course of action is to let Godzilla handle their foe.

"All right," says Roy, Nullifier in hand. "With that decided, and us all now in the same place together, it's time to head back." The yellow beam once again engulfs them, transporting them to the Monitor's satellite.

The Monitor initially congratulates them. "Once again, you have successfully obtained an artifact of great power." His tone takes a grimer tone. "But there is still one task that remains. Who do you believe to be possessed by a Hypertime Hound?"

"The group has selected Lobo, Monitor," Harbinger informs him.

Just as with Dex-Starr, the Monitor encloses the duck in a containment chamber. Harbinger, Roy, and Saturn Girl focus their psychic powers.

Saturn Girl shouts, "Well, that's just marvy!"

"He's a Hound all right," Roy clarifies.

"Most excellent," The Monitor states, before enacting the banishment process. Once more, a flash of light appears, the accused vanishes, and in his place is a Hound. The Monitor adds, "You have all done very well once more."

On the monitors behind them, those who watch can see the fate of the Squad member they left behind. Henshaw lies battered and broken, the masses of Monster Island before him. Tawny looks away as Godzilla stands over the Cyborg Manhunter, mouth aflame like the angry god he is. Hank Henshaw looks up and sees he has been judged. The sentence? Death by the same flames that gave the King of Monsters life!

Some time later, the whole satellite shakes. Everyone comes running to the main control room. "What was that? Are we at the next Earth?" someone asks.

"We have, but that did not cause the quake," replies Harbinger. "The final Hound has struck. Cyborg Sage has been destroyed. It seems as if she exploded."

Roy Lincoln pounds a nearby wall. "No. I refuse to believe that. She can be saved." Without permission, Roy activates the same teleportation mechanism the Monitor used on Lobo. "The Wanderers can rebuild her. They have the technology."

"Lincoln. Don't touch my equipment," The Monitor scolds. "All the same, we have a new Earth to visit. You will be searching for the remnants of a crashed meteor known as the Starheart. Instead of showing you matters of this Earth's history that are relevant, I will simply send you to the surface, to this Earth's Gotham City. I have informed a new member of your team, a native to this world, to expect you and provide you the details you need. You will meet a second replacement there as well."

He turns to Saturn Girl. "Thank you, dear, for your assistance," he says.

"Any time," she answers simply.

"I send you back to the Wanderers, and summon one of your companions to replace you."

A bright beam of light, and Saturn Girl vanishes, to be replaced by...



...Koriand'r Thoris, the Star Princess of Tamarsoom.

"X'hal! Hello to all of you! This will be most exciting!" she says in a tone to match her words. Her demeanor quickly shifts, however, when she adds, "Even though we face danger. May we face it together."

Just then, all of them are sent to the Earth's surface.

"What thisss lamp do?" asked Dex-Starr as he followed the others. "Work like lanterns Green Lanterns ussse? I Rrred Lantern, not need lamp," he added.

" This lamp is not like those the Lanterns of Oa use. This lamp houses a fifth dimensional being called a djinn housed inside, one who is able to weave the fabric of a reality to the user's liking or even subconscious wishes. Very dangerous tool in the wrong hands, especially if the djinn is prone to malevolence like this one is reported to be".

As Blue Skies finished speaking, Princess Kori'andr disappears! In a flash of light, she is replaced by Saturn Girl!

"Seems I'm back in the nick of things, ain't I fellas?" she asked The Wanderers. Blue Skies and Captain Thunder readied themselves, as did Clark. Saturn Girl saw the exploded Sage appear next to them as well.

"Shes in bad shape. Clark you fix her, I kinda owe these bozos for their attempt to ambush us" she said, cracking her knuckles. Dex-Starr would be shocked as his worst fear started to run towards him and Saturn Girl just decked it with a solid right hook, revealing Regan Wyngarde, Mastermind!

"That's what I can do to yas when you got no psi-buffers I need to break!" she told the unconscious Regan. Following her were John Allerdyce, The Torch! Lance Alvarez, Vibe and Fred Dukes, The Blob!


Clark shared a look with his fellow Wanderers, each reassuring him they could handle this while he fixed up Sage. Clark sped back to Sage while Saturn Girl spoke to Dex-Starr.

"From your costume I can tell you're a Red Lantern. These guys are allowing the djinn in Jafar's lamp to run amok, hurting innocent people and animals. That makes you angry, don't it?" she asked the furious feline, then placed a hand to her head so she could channel a focused blast of psionic energy to combat their foes.

Meanwhile, Clark knelt over the wreckage of Sage's body. He put a hand on her chest, then sent a current through her body to start her up again, magnetizing her body slightly so that her limbs would reattach themselves.


"Sage, please give me a sign if you're conscious" Clark told her.

Once the group reach planet side they would be met by the dark alleys of Gotham City! A city no doubt familiar to some among the group, but even for them it seemed off somehow...



The gothic architecture still very much in place, but with an added shine to it.

Looking up into the sky the group could see the batsignal shining up the skyline. It too seemed different. Larger and with a slight levity to it, a fixture in the sky to ward off any ne'er do wells. Someone in the group would've found a newspaper and started flipping through it to see if they could find anything of relevancy.

While there didn't seem to be much one article stood out where Bruce Wayne and his wife Dr Harleen Quinzel had been in a fundraiser fo-

Wait...his wife...Dr Harleen...Quinzel? Well I guess you spotted on big difference at least. Batman married to his arch villains squeeze. As the group lulled over this new find, unbeknownst to them someone would be spying on them on top one of the buildings. Was it a friend...or foe?

"This world is astounding," Arak said. "These canyons and towers of metal .... is that the man who mentored that ill-mannered child, Bat-Kudos?"

Circe pondered on the latest murder, "An explosion? Well if it was done after the duck was taken, that may limit our choices, as this killing seems as if it would be a bit more specific in terms of who could have done it."

As the team arrived in Gotham, Circe shuddered. "... ...the coldest realm thus far. I do not feel... comfortable... here. Nature still is present, but seems more... desperate."

"Sage, please give me a sign if you're conscious" Clark told her.

Sage would lay motionless before her eyes whirred back to life. "I am conscious."

Meanwhile in Gotham...

The mysterious shadow that seemed to be stalking the group would make its move and leap off the building and land in the ally in the middle of the group.



She'd stay motionless as if she was a cat stalking a den of mice.

Circe stared at the new arrival. "So. I presume you or the orange woman will tell us exactly what we're looking for in this realm."
