Yeah, that was pretty painful. I still back Nintendo more then any other developer, but I was seriously expecting a real Metroid announcement this year.

Yeah, I'm still a super Nintendo Fanyboy, but that Metroid announcement saddened me, a new Metroid was all I wanted lol

What I don't get is why they had a Super Smash Direct with Ryu, Roy and Lucas when they could've just had it at E3.

I don't know about that, cause E3 is still probably going to net so much more viewers than their directs.

Where are you hearing this? I can't find any actual details about it. I know graphically, it's going to be redone but I'm talking about the mechanics.

Really, this kinda seems like a waste. Why not just do an actual sequel?

Looking around various sites, I do find it funny that the same fanbase that will complain that Madden, CoD, and Halo are the same games with better graphics is the same fanbase losing their minds over the prospect of literally playing an old game with better graphics. I liked FF7 too, but I need more than a trailer of a remake to get hyped.

Because people don't care about more sequels to FF7. They want FF7 but with good graphic.

Not super impressed tbh with the Consoles individual shows....saw nothing that really put either console at the top of the class this time tbh.

Individual multi-plats were probably the most promising this year. Doom 4 and Fallout 4 looked pretty interesting and ready to go in the coming months. Battlefront could be really cool too.

Liked the look of the Hololens from Microsoft and No Mans Sky looked promising but not likely to hit shelves soon.

You'd think they'd learn their lesson from making that mistake.

Overall I'm not impressed with this years e3, Shenmue 3 got me excited til I got annoyed by it being a kickstarter game funded by Sony, no Beyond Good and Evil 2, new Fallout looking iffy and the lack of Zelda. I suppose Super Mario Maker, Mirrors Edge and Uncharted look promising though.
