Default Dan Slott leaving ASM? Don't count on it

I have reasons to believe that Dan Slott will still be on ASM because he still has three important story plotlines to complete:

The Anna Maria Hollogram story arc
    The Alchemex story arc
    The Black Cat story arc

Yep. I do not see Nick Lowe changing anything relating to Dan Slott's run on ASM. Afterall, when an Editor says that he's a fan of Dan Slott, you know that he'll do everything to make the writers satisfied. The only way that I will believe that Slott's leaving is when we see the return of Doc Ock; The Kingpin, and Norman Osborn......

And for that matter, the return of Myphisto....

Not surprised. Marvel seems happy with his output.

Marvel's happy that he makes money for them. Why should they let the Slott gravy-train go to someone else. I am sure that they will give him a lifetime contract in the price range of $100 Million.... A sweet deal if Slott hangs around that long, which could be around 25 to 30 years....

Does sound like a sweet deal! Good for him and good for his fans.

Jeez, I hope Slott doesn't leave the book.

    I'm really enjoying his work.

If he can continue the quality of the first issue of Renew Your Vows, rather than the consistent quality of the ASM relaunch, then I guess I could live with him staying even if I think it's high time we had a new writer and voice on Amazing.

It's the only way Peter and She-Hulk's human form will ever be together.

Let's not pretend he's interested in finishing Black Cat's "story arc." I'm thinking he'll just leave her wrecked once he's gone from the title.

We don't know if he's leaving or not just yet, but don't forget that there's a HUGE time skip in between the end of Secret Wars and the relaunch.

And there was already a HUGE time skip between the end of vol. 3 and Secret Wars.

Both time skips were 8 months each. So we're looking at a 16 month time skip all together.

I've heard this elsewhere, but where was it established that there's an 8 month gap between #18 and Secret Wars #1?

The jump occurred in Hickman's Avengers, but that was partly to incorporate developments in other titles.
    Sincerely,

The best we can hope for is that Gerry Conway will get more Spidey work in the future since, out of every writer working on a Spider-book, he's been handling her new status quo the best.

I don't think he cares that much about those plotlines. They have been very minor, and they could be finished in other books (Black Cat in Silk, Alchemax in Spider Man 2099, and so on).

But I doubt he will leave any time soon.

I have a question for that people who really want that Dan Slott continue his run on ASM: Did you read another Spider-Man's run boyond Dan Slott's run? Is there someone who read Spider-Man by Roger Stern, Gerry Conway, DeMatteis, David Michelinie or even by Bill Mantlo?
