Slotts gonna stay as long as Peter gets more into the big leagues as a hero and a chick magnet, all the while talking like a 60s based comedian.

Seriously, what is there left for him to say with Spider-man at this point? He's clearly bored with Peter Parker and his run is beyond tedious.
While I'm not sure I agree with this statement, I do feel it may be time for a change in writing and art on Spider-Man.

If a guy like Brubaker ever came back to comics I would love to see him take a shot at Spidey. With Deodato on art. Love it.

    Brubaker hasn't left comics. :-)
Seriously, if you're not reading his THE FADE OUT, VELVET, and FATALE you are missing out!
And pick up the trades for CRIMINAL and INCOGNITO.
Some of the best comics out there. Period.

Even better than your take on the Spider-Marriage, which is so gripping and lovely that you should probably suggest to Brevoort and Quesada to make it an ASM mainstay post-SW?

I hope Slott continues on the book for a good long while.

I've read Spider-man for a good long time and I haven't enjoyed the book as much as I do now.

I guess I should have been clearer, if Brubaker ever returns to the Marvel U.

Slott loves Spider-Man. The post-Secret Wars world will change Spider-Man and springboard into lots of new stories.

His love for Spider-Man only equaled, or even exceeded, by his love for Otto Octavius .

I doubt it will happen. He said in an interview he was done with superhero comics.

I wonder if Rick Remender has ever been offered Spider-Man.

The thing I love about Slott is that he respects continuity. Both Spiderman and Silver Surfer have been amazing reads, especially Silver Surfer.

If I could pick who takes on Daredevil after Waid it would def be Dan Slott.
