So, the movie is almost two years away, no official trailers have been released, no plot synopsis, only a couple of photos have been shown and you're ready to give up on this movie just because of some random news article?

Someone related to the movie likened it to TDKR. I don't need an awesome trailer, get my hopes up, then get disappointed by how Superman gets treated. So yea, I'm not looking forward to it till I hear what fellow superman fans have to say about the movie.

I know. There's nothing to form a solid opinion on the movie. It's not like the director, one of the writers, and some of the actors have been involved in a previous Superman movie that we can use to judge how well they can execute this material.

Let's all wait until these people get at least one movie made before we judge their ability to tell entertaining Superman stories.
