For one thing, judging from the article, the Aquaman news is a rumor at best. Even if not I don't see why it's worth getting upset over. So there are a few cameos, it's just setting the movie up for something grand down the road. The MCU had cameos and that set up an Avengers movie down the road.

Yes she has, but as she first saw him in Stargate Atlantis, she identifies him as Ronon Dex.

I Wonder if he'll be wearing a variant of the Aquaman costume (assuming he will actually be in the film). . . I can't exactly see him in an orange-colored scale mail outfit.

Jason Momoa was amazing in Game of Thrones, he would totally make Aquaman a complete badass. Hope that casting rumor is true (I would rather at least have him than Matt Damon or any other of the rumors)

Potentially he's a fantastic pick, but I hope Snyder doesn't cast type Aquaman into a barbarian type of character, and that we actually get something in line with New 52 Aquaman.

Except Zod could fly too. So their actions would have canceled each other out and they would still be at a stand still.

People seemingly don't understand that scene. Zod wanted to die. He felt he lost everything because Superman/Kal-El chose humanity over saving his own people. He would have destroyed the entire Earth just to hurt Superman.

Superman did the ONLY thing he could have in that situation. Whether fans want Superman to be placed in those situations is an entirely different discussion. For me personally, I'd rather the writers tackle those issues rather than avoid it. Superman having to kill Zod to save Earth is much more complex and interesting for me than him getting sucked into the Phantom Zone to terrorize another day.

This basically confirms what I've suspected all along: That Aquaman would be a lot better if he was Namor.
