Poor guy was having a bad week: found out that he was the last remaining X-man (the others supposedly had died in space), gets kicked in the balls, and then suffers the embarassment of an untrained Dazzler saving his bacon. I dunno if he even got a pity lay from Ali.

What's weird is that Angel sure shares his power a lot with Rogue, but you never really seem them interact.

Remember X-Men v2 #103 where the X-men all claim they aren't fit to lead and shove the responsibility on Rogue? Archangel told Rogue to do it because he's busy running his business and can only be a part time X-Man. Yeah, that lasted a few months. Archangel just wanted to see Rogue crash and burn. Second, that's an awesome cover, shame that wasn't the actual cover of the book, when Finch wants to he really can draw well.
Third, do you remember the interior art for that book and original cover? It was awful.
