Concurring with all of you. If they really wanted Peter to have a friend/confidante who was in on his secret identity, they could've used Hobie Brown and set him up to become the Prowler later on in the MCU Spider-Man films. They could've brought in Clayton Cole from Learning to Crawl or Oliver Osnick and set up their costumed alter egos later, instead of ripping off Ganke and giving him Ned's name.

If these are just the prototype packaging we're seeing then there's still a chance to change the labeling right? How about something like "Spider-Man (Miles Morales)" and "Spider-Man (Peter Parker)"

Thoughts:

- I really don't care for how they handled the Spider-Emblem on Miles suit. I guess maybe it's because they're leaning into him being an artist in this movie, which is why it looks like that, but it's the one part of the suit that seems off to me. Well, that and the red shoulders.

- It's weird to see Aaron's Prowler suit with Hobie's cape.

- The soles of Spider-Gwen's feet seem to have changed into ballet shoes.

- I also hope that the final packaging has both Miles and Peter listed as Spider-Man.

- Kingpin reminds me of Gru from Despicable Me, or at least some other heavy-set bad guy in an animated movie.

Might just be what Hasbro decided to call it without doing their research. Remember Bendis was brought on as a creative consultant for the movie so it would be pretty weird for Lord and Miller to change to name of one of Miles' most trademarked powers.
