Everyone makes a list of 100 to remove.
Those lists are compiled by yours truly
then everyone gets to go over the Master list and select 10 to keep [if they want to]
The rest get dumped.
I think that's the best way to go.

There's stuff I think only I am really familiar with that could stand to be dropped. Otherwise, there are definitely some impractical things.
Blunderbus (Looper) 2 - Intentionally shit weapon. Just get a regular shotgun.
Animal Weapon Armor, 1 Model (We3) 5
Animal Weapon Armor, 2 Model (We3) 5
Animal Weapon Armor, 3 Model (We3) 5
Animal Weapon Armor, 4 Model (We3) 5
While very impressive, there are better power armors out there and if you have an animal character already, if you're giving them super-powers, then this is likely just going to slow them down.
Dragon Ball, 1-Star (Dragon Ball) 3
Dragon Ball, 2-Star (Dragon Ball) 3
Dragon Ball, 3-Star (Dragon Ball) 3
Dragon Ball, 4-Star (Dragon Ball) 3
Dragon Ball, 5-Star (Dragon Ball) 3
Dragon Ball, 6-Star (Dragon Ball) 3
Dragon Ball, 7-Star (Dragon Ball) 3
No one is going to be capable of ever using these without getting blitzed completely to hell before they get the first word of the activation chant formed.
Dress Sphere: Floral Fallal (Final Fantasy X-2) 7
Dress Sphere: Full Throttle (Final Fantasy X-2) 7
Dress Sphere: Machine Maw (Final Fantasy X-2) 7
Has anyone used these? If you want Final Fantasy powers, you can already get them elsewhere.
Dusty (Gravity Rush) 2 - Gives minor gravity powers, namely letting you hover in place or "fall" in any direction.
Mega Man Weapon Sets - Combine all these into on set of chips.
Mana Spirit Summons - Combine all these into one set of summoning spells.
Mighty Max's Hat (Mighty Max) 2 - Brought up numerous times to be an utterly useless item.
Power Ranger Morphers (various) various - I know some sets gives differing abilities, but how many of these do we actually need? Can we just select the one or two best sets and toss the rest?
White Scarf (Journey) 1 - Gives you a slow, floaty long jump.
CHARACTERS
Warrior cats (Warriors) 1, 50 in total - Brought up numerous times to be useless. You could just pick "real world animal of choice: house cat" if you needed one that bad. While you could enhance them with animal-enhancer abilities, do you need 50 of them? Do you even need 10? Or 5? Or any?
Septerra Core Characters - Pretty sure I'm the only one who knows these guys, and even I've never gotten around to using them. As obscure RPG characters in a low-magic/quasi-high tech world, they're nothing special as characters.
Threads of Fate Characters (except Mode Master) - Same as above, with the exception of Mode Master, most of these characters are greatly outshined by a lot of others in the list. Mode Master is potentially quite the beast of a character, though.

No love for the generic demons from Disgaea?
Or the Spoony One?
I also think it's funny that of all the "real world" characters you only want to get rid of Hitler, and the wrestler is the Big Show.
Yesterday's News was kinda crap though... I will admit that was another joke entry.
The MunchKING is Back! And he is AWSOME!
They have some cool powers, but not nearly as good as the Mascot Dresses.
Alchemist was also pretty OP when maxed out.
I think one or two of them had minor and obscure psychic powers, but I can't tell you which...CHARACTERS

Eh, nevermind. Ultimately, even the couple of useful Ex-Heroes characters are outclassed by others.

As long as there is good info on them, I'll take them off my list.
Been busy, but I will finish my list soon including any changes.

Huh, my Mythbusters stuff didn't have links or anything? Weird. Well lets see what I get when I plug Bulletproof Van Mythbusters into Google.

Yup that was the one. I at least thought the chick from that anime with the paper-control powers would have liked that.
Ouch. Betting most of my additions meet the cutting room floor.
Downsides of loving obscure RPGs and cartoons I guess.
For the record this WAS the first thing that pops up if you googled Yesterday's News and Mythbusters, so it wasn't hard to find.

Well I had a good rant on pre and post team/item/character prep and how we should redeo those rules somewhat as many more items/characters have been added that could benefit from that alot. It even got into the whole "What if Reed Richards buys Kangs armor and preps it out do anything" part that was coming. But no, posted in the wrong thread.
Oh well, maybe later. But for now at least we could start thinking about limits, possible skill/knowledge/experiance being kept after matches, and teamate use/prep for power/skill mimicers being incorporated.
Well the worst of that kind of stuff comes only if you have ways to fuse tech together as part of item placement. I've personally used an Alchemy Pot, Firestorm Powers, that Acme Potion, Borg Nanoprobes, and a Techno Ghost to pull that sort of thing off but I'm sure those aren't the only ways to do it. Otherwise no matter how much Reed can pull off he can't really do that as part of what I assumed was quick and easy stuff only for prep - Thinking up ideas and using simple powers combined with item placement to mess with gear (Replicant absorption, Wrath's alchemy, Eye of Odin book eating, etc) in ways that don't require minutes/hours of tinkering with tools that aren't necessarily standard equipment to accomplish.
If it needs tweaking then we should do it soon and make it clearly understood to everyone how everything will work with examples so there's no confusion after the game starts.
I thought we got rid of at least the majority of the skill/item knowledge stuff (Ex: Giving users basic Lantern chops without Hal/Kyle/Kilowog tricks til later). I also can't quite understand what you meant by the bolded, would you mind clarifying?Oh well, maybe later. But for now at least we could start thinking about limits, possible skill/knowledge/experiance being kept after matches, and teamate use/prep for power/skill mimicers being incorporated.
The first part was never really explained fully with the "minor" or "quick" prep one could do pre-match until recently for the most part. I would say as a tweak to the current system that thr whole "changes must be presented, agreed upon, and finished by the same deadline as item purchases. For example if I bought Iron Man and then purchased a mini nuke launcher and and the A-Team van I would present the plan of him infusing the Launcher into the Van and
him setting it all up to control remotely via his Armor. Then if no objections are left or are cleared up then its okay.
For the second part I was talking about teamwork with teamates. Say I bought Absorbing Man and his teamates were Thor and Wolverine. Before the match I could have him "Absorb" the properties of either of his teamates. Or if I bought Copycat or Taskmaster and their teamates were fighters from DC then Before the match they can "spar or practice" which would give Cooycat/Taskmaster the skills and moves of their teamates. Or if I bought someone that can negate energy from something they experianced before and I have their teamate Superman hit him with Heat Vision in practice, thus making him immune to Heat Vision. So the next battle when Super Girl hits him with Heat Vision he would negate the effects as he has seen it before.
Frozen screen lead to double post....

An interesting set of ideas...
That's why if I want to do prep I write it in my team description and see if anyone complains.
And I should work on my big 100 list. Maybe I'll actually find 100 things to take down.
The MunchKING is Back! And he is AWSOME!
Not that I think I'll add him, but what would you price a kid who's power is to make sonic booms capable of leveling Mt. Rushmore or the ancient Coliseums?
Durability, IIRC he took a Civil-War era cannon shot with only cartoon injuries.
Speed, normal kid, IIRC.
