I once asked Tom Brevoort as to why Liz Allan had not started a relationship with Peter Parker. He sad that because Liz was a single parent, it would ago Peter as well as the fact that Marvel does not want Peter to be a father figure, whether he fathered the child or not...

If Soule is not going to use her, I think Guardians of the Galaxy might be a good place for her...? Maybe Uncanny Avengers. Although Spider-Verse is certainly as good a place as any. At this point, I wouldn't object to her being in Defenders or heck I'll take her in a Morlocks book, lol.

I would like to see her dating Peter in his Spider-man book and be a supporting cast member. I want to se how she bounces off his cast. I know Aunt May would take a liking to her.

I am sure that the relationship will comeback. Afterall, in the daily comic strip, Peter and MJ are still married. But they have yet to have children, which doesn't bother anyone at all. Now if Annie is carried over to the new 616 and MJ ends up raising her, then that might be a problem. But I suspect that she'll eventually be reunited with her parents once again.
