While she doesn't exist in the main Marvel comics, Hope Van Dyne is coming to the MCU along side Cassie Lang in the upcoming Ant-man file, so why isn't anyone speaking about the MC-2 Versions of the daughter of the original Ant-Man and the Wasp and even Cassie Lang ?
The reason I placed the thread here is due to it's about the MC-2 Universe, the world where Cassie became her own hero before the Main comics.
Plus it's where I go for all my MC-2 stuff, am I right ?

I don't think the folks at Marvel see the need to bring up the MC2 Hope vis-à-vis her MCU counterpart. The Ultimate Universe and its denizens are more well known by non-comic book readers, in my opinion, thanks to all the news about Miles Morales. But we don't see anyone really pushing for a distinctive MC2 character nowadays outside of Mayday because, lets face it, that universe has been largely ignored.

Damn I honestly forgot all about the character until I read this thread. Which I think explains why Marvel hasn't addressed her status, out of sight out of mind.

I knew that Hope's origin, as Hank and Jan's daughter, was from MC2 but considering she was (I think) a villain there while the Hope in the movies is meant to take over for Janet as Wasp and is probably completely different in terms of personality...I can see why her comic origins probably aren't mentioned that much
