If Marvel/Disney ever get the movie rights for X-Men back, what do you think might happen to the Inhumans?

Didn't the Inhumans debut in Fantastic Four? How did Marvel retain their rights in other media?

Well contracts were probably more detailed than "everything related to FF is ours now", Marvel probably left out Inhumans for some reason and Fox didn't care enough to bring them up.

That's a pretty massive 'if'. So long as 'fans' of the X-men continue to support the the films, there will be no happy ending. Fox will have no reason to relent on thier claim. The success of these films is litterally choking the life out of these characters.

If this continues long enough, I'd imagine that Disney/Marvel's interest in the X-men characters will completely evaporate, save for stalwarts like Wolverine.

Regardless of Disney and Fox' little feud, after a few years it won't matter at any rate. The span of attention for comics fans seems pretty limited in it's scope. Now that the Inhumans have cemented a large role in the Marvel Universe, in a few years most people discussing them in forums like this (and most definately the 'tumblr' contingent) will assume it was always so and there will be no looking back.

I'm pretty sure the Inhuamns are here to stay.

Once the INHUMANS film hits and the comics start up, I think that'll be it for mutants outside of Wolverine.

Let's see if they can survive until 2020....................................

Here's a better question. If Marvel does get the X-Men back, what is there left to do with them? They've done 3 Magneto films, Hellfire Club, Days of Future Past, and will do Apocalypse, Deadpool, Gambit, and more. They'll run out of stories for the X-Men when they get the movies back that it'll just be "Been there, Done That"

Though right now, Marvel really doesn't know what to do with the Inhumans. They seem to push Medusa so much, that she's a different character now. She used to be a hard ass queen who pushed others for her way, and now she's the super caring caretaker, a rule that usually is designated for Crystal. Hell, they don't know which Royal Family to focus on, and they keep adding more and more new characters that the book becomes very unfocused.

Well, given that Inhumans need someone like certain still-dead-redhead, and now with Cyclops showing up there too.......................

Seriously? The X-Men and the rest of the Marvel universe have shared the same Earth for over half a century and I don't recall people complaining about that until recent years.
