This team is everything I didn't know I wanted.

I haven't been this enthused about an X-line-up since Gillen's Uncanny Extinction Team.

I mean, its not perfect but even Gillen's team had some ho-hums in the mix (Hope, for example) and in this instance I suppose its Iceman.

Every time I discuss this team with my buddies, Iceman isn't even brought up. Poor Bobby. Left out in the cold.

I never said it didn't mean anything, just that it was a lie. They were either lying to themselves, the women they were involved with, or both. You can love someone without being "in love" with them...

These are not the only options. I know many people who had totally loving, sexual & romantic relationships with women before they realized they were gay.

If they replace teen jean and magik by Rogue and jubilee, I'm sure the book will become the top sell among all the relaunches.

Seems to me bendis will make it official in #600. Lemire said adult Bobby is gay in his run so there you go. We have already seen a page of 600 that has teen Bobby talking to adult bobby

Really though, ANXM (with Teen Jean) & Uncanny X-Men (with Magik) outsold X-Men (with Jubilee) & UA (with Rogue) pretty much every month.

So I think it will be just fine!

Yeah, EXM will sell extremely well and the inclusion of Jean and Magik will have to do with that.

The REASON ANXM sold was because of Jean, after all, and that being the only place to see her. After almost ten years.

It maybe true for jubilee, but Rogue didn't have the best sell is just because she is in the wrong book!!Please bring her back to the mutant world!!!T^T

As for the team itself, while I do hate Storm, am indifferent towards Bobby and OML, I like Colossus, Kurt and Jeen well enough to give it a shot. Also, MAGIK! I mean, MAGIK! Sorry, I meant to say, MAGIK! MAGIKMAGIKMAGIKMAGIKMAGIK! Uh......ok......I'm just....yeah....

I liked Justice League United, sad to hear Lemire considers it a failure , I'm really intrigued by this team and trust the writer so I'll definitely be hoping to make this a day one purchase.

Marvel.com: Jeff, prior to Secret Wars, Bobby Drake from the past was revealed to be gay. Is this a facet of Iceman that will factor into your work on the series? If so, what directions do you think this could open for you as a storyteller?

Jeff Lemire:*Brian Bendis won’t finish telling his story with the Icemen until UNCANNY X-MEN #600 this fall, so I don’t want to say too much, in terms of specifics. I will say that the adult Bobby Drake is the character that will appear in our series and yes, Bobby is gay post-Secret Wars. I’m excited to tell more of his story.
