I agree, Land is one of my favorite artists. Yes, he has had some bad habits in the past but his recent work has been really good. You can see the effort he has been making to become a more diverse artist and yet keep his signature look. Obviously it isn't for everyone but I welcome him to any Marvel title. His art puts a large smile on my face. I love seeing his characters smile on the page, especially the women. Just exuding happiness and often sexy confidence. I always feel the need to defend him because he is one of the few that can elicit real feelings from me with his art. That's special to me. Marvel is right by keeping him employed regardless of all you haters!

I can forgive Land's pornish tracing if I didn't despise Uncanny's current line up. Fucking Fantomax is back! That alone loses my support

Personally, I find his "O" faces aren't very satisfying.

I don't know all that much of his work, but I loved his stuff in Endsong.

Land can sell because let's face it, there are people that buy comics to oogle and fap to.

It's not any worse than any given: Rhianna, Britney, Lady Gaga etc video which women gobble up without any criticism. All manufactured by men, btw.

Greg Land should be the least of anyone's worries. In my opinion his work with the X-Men has been underrated and much maligned. I get the tracing thing, but for me the art is very solid and realistic, rather than cartoony or stylised. I don't want photorealistic, but I definitely don't want cartoons.

It's not always solid, actually it hardly ever is. I don't think the tracing is the problem with him, hell, he's far from the only one that does it, and Phoenix Endsong was pretty well done for the most part, but when he's rushed (ie: when put in an on going) the sloppy shows and it shows hard. From repeated poses to everyone smiling inappropriately to every female having the same hairstyle to the point where they seem like bad cosplayers rather than the actual characters. And that's not even getting into the distracting porn poses.

I originally liked it for being realistic too, but the more one is exposed to it the more the flaws are apparent. Hopefully he ups his game again, the last issues he did for Gillen's run during AvX weren't that bad, but that cover is already bugging the hell out of me with his awful Psylocke.

I mean solid as opposed to wispy and sketchy, to be fair I liked all the issues he did throughout the 500's and vol 2.

It's boring, but the complaints that it's overtly sexual are ridiculous to me. Silvestri on UXM was WAY worse, Jim Lee, etc... They're not arching backwards like Penthouse Pets.

Jean loves me this I know because the church says it so.

    Havok and Emma were right.
