I liked the Agent Venom look which was the new Venom costume. We need a new Agent Venom book yesterday

As someone who's knowledge of venom is pretty much completely based on some fuzzy memories of the spider-man animated series from the 90s and the third spider-man movie...venom became part of the GotG?

Yeah he joined up after the first Guardians of the galaxy/X-men crossover. The Avengers sent him up so he could be the new Avengers representative after Ironman left. He really hasn't done anything truly significant except for the Planet Venom arc where he got his new suit and was told he was an intergalactic hero/protector; other then that he's gotten some good fight scenes in. He's sticking around post-Secret Wars though, so he's still a guardian of the galaxy.

I'll follow it because I like the character that Remender set up. But I don't like where Bendis has taken venom.

The struggle of the will of the host vs. the darkness of the symbiote has always created some great stories. Having the symbiotes as misunderstood, good guy aliens is kinda lame.

Still, I enjoyed Silk, so hopefully Thompson can do something cool with this.

I agree. Venom is very neutered here. I will give the first two issues a chance, but I am not expecting much. One great thing about that attitude is, if it is mind blowing, my expectations will be extremely met.

Anyone else really excited for venom? I am. Despite not liking recent changes to the, symbiote in guardians the idea of Flash on, his, Own in space sounds neat. I'm hoping we get an interview or soon to get more details.

Aside from plot details. I'm hoping to see more uses of the symbiote powers. I also wanna see what kinda of people, will he go up against.
