I'm so sad to see this series go, it was one of my favorite monthly books and as soon as I heard it was ending I placed it at the bottom of the stack due to sadness. I will always enjoy going back to reread it but I will miss seeing it monthly. Any thoughts as to Dynamite revisiting Black Bat via a mini or a series of mini's?

But for me, that was part of the problem: we didn't see it monthly, we saw it "whenever".

Whatever Dynamite does in the future, they need to better handle the frequency of when the book is available, and I have no idea if all the delays for many of their titles have been caused by writers, artists, or Dynamite's lack of coordinating and getting these books printed and distributed on time.

Actually, this book is pretty well on schedule. I moved in June of 2013 and issue #2 was just coming out. Here we are a year later and issue #12 is here, so the scheduling isn't as bad as previous Dynamite titles.

I agree it hasn't "been as bad as previous Dynamite titles" for most of it's run, but it has fallen into serious delays with the last several issues.

Here's the breakdown of issues #9 - #12 . . . the first date is what's on Dynamite's website (with the Dynamite site for that issue also listed), while after the slash is the date when comiclist.com says it actually was available from stores:

    #9 = February 5, 2014 / February 26, 2014

    #10 = March 5, 2014 / May 7, 2014

    #11 = April 2, 2014 / June 4, 2014? (Not yet out)

Aside from his appearances in the Masks 2 series from Dynamite (back in 2015?), I'm not aware of any newer adventures with Black Bat from Dynamite.
