It looks like he's supposed to be in space with Carol and the Guardians during Secret Empire (though only Champions has mentioned this - neither of the Novas has shown up in Secret Empire at all), but will return to the Champions afterwards.

That he was supposed to be in space with Carol, but only one book even mentions such, let alone show visible evidence, really hammers home my sadness. Honestly, I thought he was in space with Richard? At least, he was going to be, before his book got cancelled...

As it stands, he's been absent from Marvel comics for almost 3 months and counting. The double whammy of his book's cancellation and being MIA in the team book he supposed to be a part of really hurts.

Still, I wasn't sure he'd be back post Secret Empire, though. Not even in Champions. Where was that made know?

Solicited covers for October's issues of Champions and Avengers. Between them, all six members of both teams are shown. So it looks like neither team is losing any members yet.

I really enjoyed the friendship Rich shared with Wendall. I would have loved for them to team up again. Nova Prime force and the Q bands. Not many villains would be able to stand up to that much power!

Me too. I loved all of the friendships DnA wrote for Nova: Wendell, Starlord, Drax, Cosmo, Gamora, etc. And Perez anc company were doing a bang-up job with that too.

Nova finally got acknowledged in SECRET EMPIRE #7. He (Sam, I think) is the one who rescued Quasar, who was KOed by an exploding dragon ship a few issues earlier.

Speaking of good news just... the three Nova episodes of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 4 Seasons 2017 Cartoon were AWESOMETACULAR!!!
1) Back In Black 2) Knights In Black Helmets 3) Nova Me, Nova you. Being a BIG Nova/Sam fan they were fantastic!!! 　

Thank you for making these MARVEL... It's closer to the Comic book series and it had cameos of his Mom, Sister, Carrie, his Principle...

Out of the way, because Marvel plans to synergise them with the MCU rubbish and didnt want to even acknowledge they exist with Legacy, despite them being on the Alex Ross art at one point.

It would have been better if richard had saved Quasar. Why? Because Quasar and Rich are good friends. And they have had each other's backs through many battles.

It's not that Quasar. This is a new one, a SHIELD agent called Avril Kincaid, who debuted during Standoff.
