Unlike all the other Appreciation threads, I don't think it has "Appreciation" in the title. It's just called "Angel's Aerie".

Could a moderator maybe change the title to have Appreciation in it? Like "Angel's Aerie - Warren Worthington III Appreciation" or something so people can find it? I've had to use Google in the past.

Well Laura has self-esteem/loathing issues. That's a well established fact, so it's not surprising (she also said that Jean was prettier than her as well). BTW, that conversation was really good and I'm surprised that Bendis made what exactly happened between them so ambiguous/unclear. Then again, maybe he's getting a kick out of watching fans debate the scene.

Sounds like a bit of good-natured teasing. Especially since it means if Warren's prettier than Laura, and he considers Laura prettier than JEAN GREY (whom hasn't pretty much EVERY male X-Man lusted over her at some point?), then it makes HIM prettier than Jean, too.

And I agree with Punisher, that was a great scene. The conversation between them was very sweetly done, and even if Laura's voice wasn't quite right, the MEANING of what she was saying may be the most spot-on Bendis has written her.

Anyone think that the real Warren will return in Axis...I'd love to see Psylocke play a role in bringing him back...who knows the life seed could do a lot to fix things...

I doubt it. Sorry for sounding pessimistic but I would rather have someone else write NuAngel and maybe 05 Warren and the Apocalypse Twins (Alongside the Apocalypse Mess). Maybe Greg Pak or for something insane Spurrier.

Well I'd only trust Remender to bring him back...and even that's a barely trusting him, after that I'd want someone else to write him as well, who knows maybe the life seed saves the day...or it gets removed and what's left over is the real Warren, aren't the twins now both dead...or at least one of them...and I don't think that Spurrier would write him to well either.

Super true! However I get this lurking feeling that Remender is just going to destroy any possibility of happiness or good character development to Warren, TeenWarren, NuAngel, and the Apoc Twins if he has any plans for them. I believe he is just going to make this massive mess that might never get fixed or it will take a really good writer to put it all to order. So when is Angel going to find out about the whole DAS thing? And yes I am referring to both of versions of the character. The repercussions, relationships, and character growth can be done super well. How will NuAngel or TeenAngel view eachother after finding the truth or anyone else for keeping the secret and not doing anything? There are just so many possibilities!! Yet I feel this is not going to happen in the slightest or not in a way that it feels like it should. :/

I meant NuAngel and TeenAngel. I don't know how well the repercussions of DAS will be dealt with and whether or not it will lead to actual consequences that have to be faced. Not to mention whether or not the general public will find out about the massacre.
That is going to bring out a large amount of baggage and not in a good way. Someone might have to pay a price.
There is also the hanging question of how well either one will deal with the situation. Will one of them deny it, accept, try to correct the wrongs, blame it on someone else, or avoid it like the damn plague?
In addition how is everyone else going to take it and the fact that this wasn't dealt with sooner.
