Okay, looking at bert's cover from the last contest reminded me of something that I thought of for a theme a little while back that I thought might be fun.
This isn't a makeover or a bold new direction-- it's one-off issues where the lead character is completely
OUT OF CONTEXT.
Something where the hero is totally and utterly out of place.
Contest Rules
Post one, and only one, cover that fits the theme of the contest.
Cover must be from an published comic book or collected volume.
Covers must be posted before voting begins.
Voting runs from 12 AM Tuesday until 12 AM Wednesday PST.
Vote by posting the name in bold of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most.
The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period.

Also, if you think someone's entry doesn't fit the theme or is in violation of the rules in some way, you don't need to litigate it in the thread, just don't vote for it. The mission statement is always-- Have fun!
