This goes a bit into semantics of word bubbles, but I tend to view that situation as the Surfer intentionally tearing open a singularity via kerboomery.

Ehhh....Thanos said it was "brought about" by the energy discharge , the black hole that is

Surfer said "they cannot track us through the energies unleashed ", nothing about the black hole

Seems to me to be Surfer was only going for a massive energy discharge, and the black hole just got created as a side effect

The planet busting thing with korvac I feel was him blowing that up with energy.

Could be . Though there was no energy aura around him last we see him before he gets trapped

Otherwise.. what comic did that star thing happen in?

That seems.. dubiously canonical then.

*shrug* I see nothing wrong with what happens in it as something that goes outside canon. It happens during one of the Surfer's "breaks" from heralding.
