    SOLD! I picked up the series as it was being released by issue, I've been waiting for this since the end of the first volume. I think I even managed to get Waid to sign my #1 of the series.

    Read the first new issue, fantastic stuff. Thought Waid might have lost his touch for horror being away from the likes of Irredeemable for so long, but Jesus Christ did he prove me wrong.

    This is excellent. Empire is the best work that Waid has done, and Barry Kitson's art only gets better as he ages.

    I'm wondering the same thing. I loved the first volume of Empire but I'm really not fond of reading comics digitally.
