Default Who is your favorite Batman replacement?

Over the years, Bruce Wayne had to be put in retirement on several occasions now. He also had different versions of himself in alternate universes. Out of all of them, who is your favorite?

My favorite Batman replacement is Terry McGinnis. Bruce was too old to be Batman and was forced to use a gun on a criminal to save himself. Years later, Terry enters Bruce's life and becomes the new Batman against Bruce's will/intentions. After some time Bruce accepts, reluctantly at first, Terry as the next Batman, and becomes Terry's mentor and guide from the Batcave.

I voted Dick, but I also put a vote in for Gordon. I trade-wait Batman but I've liked the idea of, if a non-Batfamily member was going to pick up the cowl after Bruce, it's Gordon. I also like Thomas Wayne.

I think it should be two options. 1. Dick Grayson 2. Everybody else (Add why you don't like Dick Grayson) LOL

Prodigal, Black Mirror and Morrison's Batman and Robin place Dick as #1 in my book.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Terry Maguinise in the animated Batman Beyond gets my vote. I loved that series.

Thomas Wayne from the Flashpoint comics and Flashpoint Paradox animated movie was an interesting alternative take on the character. I haven't read all of Convergence, but I liked his role in Superman's two issue miniseries with Lois Lane.

Besides that, Jim Gordon as Batman might be good, but I wonder how long Jim will be in the role for. If BatJim joins the Justice League during his run, that would be an interesting turn for the former commissioner.
