Wanted to see if mine has changed. It has - slightly.

    1. Southern Bastards (still my favorite book in comics.)
    2. East of West (still right up there with SB. It's so close, but football.)
    3. Lazarus (probably should've always been here. But Deadly Class is still awesome. Probably 4th.)

Invincible (probably the comic I have read the most consistently since it came out)
    Saga
    Wayward

Just to update my current 3:

    1. Invincible
    2. Lazarus
    3. Velvet

Honorable Mentions include Descender, East or West, and Invisible Republic. Saga has fallen very far in quality in my opinion.

    I would still probably say

    1) Descender
    2) Southern Bastards
    3) Lazarus

But when books like 2 and 3 go on break, and books like LOW come back and fire on all cylinders, it's hard not to consider that one in my top 3. Definitely my favorite Remender book. I need to start reading East of West. I bought #1 when it came out but didn't have the funds to keep reading. Now's the time.

I agree, you need to . The deluxe hardcover version Image put out is super nice. I bought it and am about to sell my single issues.

East of West - Apocalyptic western written by Jonathan Hickman is all I needed to start reading.
Low - Even though the art is what strongly carries the book, Rick Remender has written a character in Stel that resonates with me like no other fictional character does.
Saga - I stopped reading this when Alana & Marko started to get anatgonistic towards each other. I lost interest in it at that point but it is one hell of a series.

Runner-Up: The Dying & The Dead - this would be #3 if it was "on-going".

I'm more of a single issue person, honestly. I know that sounds ridiculous. But I prefer them. So over the next few weeks I'm gonna look for as many early issues as I can before having to pick up trades or any hardcovers.

    1: Stray Bullets
    2. Saga
    3. er.. errr..... Southern Bastards

I realize I generally tend to judge stories by their ending so judgement is still out for a lot of stuff; Humour has an instant gratification aspect, which has me choosing these specific series.

I understand that. I happen to have the first 24 issues (first prints and in near mint condition). If you're interested in them, let me know. I'm trying to move my collection to hardcovers only after being told by my wife to cut down on the clutter in the house haha.
