Not reading enough yet to make a top three, but just wanted to say that this topic made me start reading Velvet.

It is absolutely great. Thanks, ladies and gents, for being so consistent in putting it in your lists

My answer would've been different when this question was first asked, I believe. There are 7 titles that are candidates for me, but I'll have to say...:

    Manifest Destiny
    East of West
    Revival

I know my third choice is surprising but man, I love that book. Such a slow burn with some great characters and writing.
funny b/c I dropped it at like #20, but had only read up to #18. So just tonight I read #18-20 and remembered why I liked it - the characters, storytelling, etc. I'm almost tempted to re-add it to my pull list, but the burn is too slow for me. In the 20 issues I've read, still nothing has actually "happened"...
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008

Amending my list - the amazing Bitch Planet has displaced Nailbiter to the honorable mentions.

    5) Fade Out
    6) Lazarus

    Just updating my list:

    1. Invincible
    2. Lazarus
    3. Saga

Other notable books for me would be East of West, Velvet (irregular release schedule hurts), and The Fade Out.
